Any chance of a good sv for £15k?

Been given the go ahead woth the above budget,but as Im a bit of a lump, will need an SV....

Any chance of finding something worth buying and keeping ?

I saw one at a club meet that cost the owner £12,000.

Very early model, rough at a close distance, It did have bubbling along the base of the side panels, basic interior, hard use, but even so had to be worth that all day long.

Obviously a rare find, and with new panels and a spray heading to your £15,000 budget perhaps.

I’d say it will be rare to find one at that price, but with patience do-able. I have a chum looking for a sub £10,000 S3 and in the last two years we’ve seen 5 or 6.

I’d have a word with some dealers who may have a trade in coming in they can turn over quickly without the normal work, amongst all the usual places.

There is a nice spec K series SV for sale on the Facebook Group "Caterham & Lotus 7 Owners", £14,200. Chap called Gavin Stephens.
