Avon zzs and 10 inch rims

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the 245/50/13 avons on a 10 inch wide rim
States on their website it can fit a 10inch

But why would you?. surely you will just end up with too much rear end grip, need bigger rear wings, lose the ability to drive it on the throttle, less fun, it's probably one of those questions that hasn't been asked before for a reason, a set-up like that is unnecessary IMHO..

Sorry this not for a caterham but a midengined sports racer.
Just thought to ask here as caterhams use these tyres alot i was told

I don't think you'll find any Caterhams owners who've gone for wheels that big. (Perhaps with the exception of the Levante cars?).

I've fitted a pair on 9" rims, and they sit pretty well. I think they'd cope with 10" no problem.
