I’ve just invested in a set of Avon crossplys
Anyone know the camber settings for the front
I’ve ordered the new ears .25 for the rear
Ta v much
It’s an R500D for track only by the way

Yes, start at 0,,

Simplistically, the construction of a cross ply is pretty heavy throughout the crown and sidewalls

Under side load there's not so much deformation but the tread tends to break away early and consistently.

With a radial’s much lighter sidewall there is deformation quite early so camber is needed to allow that deformation to roll the tread down into the road.

When the tread does break away the energy in the deformed sidewalls tends to make it quite sudden and not so consistent.

I used to run ACB10's on my SLR and as suggested near to 0 deg all round works well. They're probably the most progressive tyre I've ever used on the car and the idea of a snap breakaway didn't ever occur, fantastic tyres on track
