Hi all, I'm planning on asking Caterham for these wheels once I'm able to try a car with a view to joining the waiting list. I know they are 6J front and 8J rear by 13, anyone know what they're called please smile

I believe the style was called Orcus and the picture is in Anthracite finish. I don't think this 13 inch wheel is made anymore so Caterham may not be able to supply them new, but second-hand they are readily available.

Thanks guys, yes the 6 spoke Orcus are 15", it's the 13" 8 spoke wheels I want. I'll see if Caterham Parts or Redline Parts still supply them, I assume these 8 spoke are also called Orcus ?

They were called superlight wheels I think, I had the 15" version on my car, the 13" are supposed to suit the handling better, pretty sure they don't still make them.

People tend to refer to them as ‘KN 8 spokes’, as they were made by KN. Caterham discontinued them a good few years ago when they were replaced with the Apollo & Orcus wheels. I think that happened at the time they revamped the model names. I’ve got a set of the KNs on my 420R. Nice looking wheels!

Yes, 8 spoke Superlight wheels. Meteor Motorsport had a few sets of NOS wheels in 6” + 8” x 13” so worth giving them a call.

Or give John at Millwood a call - I got a full brand new set from him for £564 (6x8s without tyres) back in 2019. Fantastic company to work with.

You can generally find these on FB marketplace too - there are a couple of Caterham specific groups out there which are definitely worth joining.

Also worth mentioning (without hopefully starting a debate), that some lower powered cars choice not to run 8's on the back as they are pretty sticky
