My solution.

Neater in some ways, but covers where the nose band meets the bonnet stripe. Also not legal.

Because stick-on?
Because not 'vertical'?
Because no BS number?

If it's reflective and can be read within the area and distance defined within the Regs (and by ANPR), I would suggest it would be a very quiet day in Policeland if they had time and inclination to ticket for it.

Personally, I can see how a number plate in the original position could be very vulnerable to taking a knock and 'falling off' after one has set off on a journey...

Whatever, great choice of colour and one that I've played with on the configurator biggrin

I wouldn't worry too much about it, my previous 7 I had for 14 years with very small black and silver plates. I've been followed by plod numerous times without being pulled. I guess it comes down to luck and what knowledge of these cars they have.

After losing my front plate courtesy of a suicidal rabbit (a habitual problem in my neck of the woods) I too have a stick on one; no grief at either MOT time or from plod
