How much vinyl to wrap a Caterham?

I fancy having a go at wrapping my Caterham.

I’m wondering how much material I should buy? If you’ve done it before then I’d appreciate some guidance based on what you used?

Enough to cover the panels you want to wrap.

I can only think in horror just how much ballache the bonnet alone would be to wrap.....

I don’t know how much to do the whole 7. I have wrapped front and rear wings. To do this I had to make a ‘form’ to hold the wings rigid whilst applying the wrap. Without this the wings were too flexible to wrap. I will be very interested to learn of your cunning plan on the bonnet AND any advise on the nose cone.

I wrapped mine in 2020. I wrapped all of it apart from the wings and used 7m of wrap. It would have been 6m but I wasted a load by cutting the piece too small for the rear panel.

So how much skill does it need to wrap a car? Can any old idiot called Bert do it, or does it need loads of skill and practice?

I wouldn’t say it’s easy, but it’s not hard if you learn the basics and be methodical and patient
