Hello,looking for advice on what is the best Caterham I can get for my money?
I want to spend around £7000-£10000 any info on these little beauties would be appreciated i.e best place to look etc and any models I should avoid

Post this request on www.blatchat.com and you'll get more response. In a nutshell, you'll get a 1.6 VX or Ford crossflow live axled car at the bottom end of your budget (I've also seen K Series 1.4 Supersports (and non Supersports) for this money. The top end of your budget might snare a higher mileage 1.6k, 115bhp Roadsport or 135 bhp Supersport as well as cherished Crossflows and optimistically priced 1.6 VXs.

2.0 Vauxhalls can also be found at the top end too but are rarer.

No Caterham should be avoided, and you pretty much get what you pay for. Other places to look are on PH Classifieds, Autotrader, Exchange & Mart, Findit.co.uk & the For Sale section of Blatchat.

Definitely have a look on Blachat - and do a search as there will be loads of similar threads. Also you need to go to your local Lotus Seven Owners Club meet - details can be found on the L7OC site www.lotus7club.co.uk/7meet.htm - and talk to owners. Everyone will have a different view on whcih is the best engine, etc. but you will learn a fair bit and probably be able to blag a ride in a few cars.
