58 plate Combi van CD30 Ipod HELP!!!

As with the same as most of the ipod help topics on here, my VX has only the CD30 head unit with no Aux out.
I don't have steering wheel controls, don't need it either.
Only interested in listening to my iphone through the stereo.

The 2008 combi van is basically a corsa (before current model)and the head unit is simply a CD30.

I tried changing the headunit a couple of years ago and recall it just blew fuses all over the place.

What to do!?

And are there any VX techies or specialists in or around Northants or Milton Keynes that could help?
