Corsa - march cancelled delivery - anyone else?

Good afternoon.
Purchased a new corsa 1.4 for march 1st delivery.
Car in stock at dealer. Deposit paid mid February.
Dealer advises unable to release car till handbrake is repaired as a recall, so can't register it etc. Unable to give any details as to time to fix or repair method.
Just a bit worried as cheap tax ends this month...
Vauxhall via facebook won't comment, but there seems to be others affected, as per this forum post ...

Anyone else in the same position with more info or better customer service ?
