2013 Astra wouldn't start

Hi, my 2013 Astra 2.0 cdti elite wouldn't start, earlier today. Started fine this morning, twice then nipped into the shop for about 45 minutes and when I came out and tried to start it, it started then cut out, tried again and it wouldn't turn over, waited a couple minutes tried again and it started then cut out. Tried again straight away and it started no bother. Any ideas what could've caused this?
