VX Vectra Issue :/

Hi,
I own a 2005 preface lift VX Vectra 1.9 CDti 150 bhp. I've owned the car a while now and has been a really reliable car.
However today a issue has started to develop and I just want to see if anyone might have an idea of what it is as my mechanic is saying I have to wait till next week to get booked in....
I drove the car to work this morning, it started and drove perfectly like it always does. But when I was heading home I started the engine and heard a really high pitched squicking noise (not the belt or pulleys as all was changed roughly 5 weeks ago) also the car was misfiring all over the place but I revved the engine and that stopped the misfire but the squicking noise was still there. I started driving the car home and it drive fine no issues, pulled like a train (have had it remapped to stage 1) no dash lights everything seemed fine except every time I stopped for a red light or round about the squicking would come back. I drove straight to my mechanic, he said he can take a quick look as he's got 5 mins but can't book it in till next week :/ when he lifted the engine cover off the whole top of the engine was covered in oil so was the under neath of the cover, he had a quick look and couldn't see where the oil was coming from. Anyways I turned the car off as when I got to his the squicking stopped completely so I thought if I turn it offf and back on the squicking will come back and it did but lasted about 2 seconds and went away.... When I turned the car off the car made a weird loud hissing/growling noise which it had never done before.
I turned it on and off a couple times each time the same thing squicking for a few seconds and when turned off loud hiss/growling (I csnt explain the noise 🤣)
He said the noises are definitely coming from the passanger side of the engine bay and he just said he'll need to have a more in-depth look as the car drives spot on just makes weird noises.
Has anyone got any idea of what it could possibly be? Sorry about the long essay I Just wanted to explain exactly what happened as that might help someone diagnose the problem or give me ideas!
The car has a custom map installed, have had it about a year now no problems. However ever since the remap the car smokes heavily under heavy acceleration, but I have noticed the last week or so it smokes badly under gentle load too. Thought I'd include that Incase it could have something to do with it.

I had similar situation on the weekend (Astra MK5), heard squeaking noise thought it might be something to do with the clutch as I was experiencing issues getting into to reverse earlier in the week, then whilst going home BANG and big plume of smoke. Opened the bonnet, coolant everywhere, I can see a cut in one of the pipes just behind the condenser. No warning lights, limped the final mile of the journey.

Not sure it happened at night it was hard to see if what was coming out the back was the exhaust or was the coolant steam passing down the underside of the car. It's at the mechanics now so I'll find out if it is the gasket has blown as well tomorrow.Coolant.
