I doubt it as they only sold in small numbers compared to most other things here.

as above it would be a very small club, wasn't it only x27 RHD's of the old model sold in the UK ?

Something like that. They only have 100 of the new 2012+ SRT8 Jeeps coming to the UK so that gives you an idea.

I can honestly say apart from a few american car shows I have never seen another Grand Cherokee SRT8 on the road.

There's 3 or 4 knocking around Wokingham and surrounding areas, my buddy has a supercharged one, keep toying with getting the wife one as she misses her old 4.7 V8 but says she doesn't want the fuel bill now as she's used to the diesel 300C , been a few sold at bargain money recently which I missed out on unfortunately, awesome piece of kit for the money

If its a source of information you are after, this is probably the best place to look,

http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/

Its an American forum but there are a few UK posters.

thanks, craig. i'm already on that forum and there wasn't a club on there either. figured i would ask here as well, since these forums are fairly active. i would think the small number of jeep SRTs would make a club even more attractive. i think having a club of 25-100 people would be pretty neat. big enough to have a decent sized meet if most of us showed up, but not so big to make it hard to get to know everybody else. oh well. thanks again, guys.

Hi there. My dad has a Jeep SRT 2007 in silver. Had it for nearly 3years now, i have my own garage so have done few jobs on it when needed. Lovely piece of kit and keep trying to get it off him lol.

Replaced starter on it 2 years ago which was bit awkward, also twice the heater hose blew where it goes into bulkhead but touch wood been fine since new stat fitted. Got it on ramp at moment as getting wheels refurbed in gloss black. Our vehicle has a Diablo Sport sticker on tailgate but no idea if previous owner fettled with it or not. I notice there is a couple on ebay at moment.

I was thinking of getting a nice E46 m3 but fancy an srt instead now lol. Just thought would say hi really as not many in uk. Im in Merseyside area

Well, when I get my turbo'd 15 in a few months, I will check interest to see if people want to meet up and a pre-existing event. The timing will be pretty crap though, being as in a couple of months will be the end of the car season for the most part, but we'll see.

yeah, same. i wouldn't mind driving about an hour for a meet, or just meeting up at major events. i'll look more into it when my jeep gets here, but if you guys want to look into it sooner, go for it and i'll just catch up when my jeep comes.

One of the better places for Jeep SRT8 info is the facebook group

https://www.facebook.com/groups/394507003995340/

I think i'm the solitary UK owner there but heyho - great place for info from passionate guys who want to help (not always the case on cherokeesrt8)

I've just had my Turbo Jeep featured on Pistonheads Car Pool if you want to see another UK car smile

I am, but I'm also a UK-based owner of a JGC SRT. Does me being American make it so I don't count? That's racist! /sadface

Haha not at all - but you have an advantage over us as you'll be able to go home to where all the other jeeps and cool stuff hang out biggrin

We must be up to nearly 10 owners here - surely a UK meet must be possible....

I've started a UK Owners facebook page - there's a whole two members there including me and my daughter biggrin

Bought this one a few weeks ago having put up with a diesel for nearly two years !! eek use to own a 6.1 2005 and then a 2007 so had to return to the beast due to withdrawal symptoms woohoohehe

The 6.4 is the mutts nuts and a great improvement on the 6.1, as usual, I immediately got rid of the run flats despite 4mm all round and fitted proper 295/45/20 Continentals, a vast improvement in ride, grip and breaking, why do jeep continue to fit these crap run flats ???

Anyone else here own a 6.4, as I seem to be the only one in Surrey as I haven't seen any others in my travels, which surprises me a little.
