Interesting. That is pretty much the spec I would have ordered one in. Also very interested to see more pics of em in Grabber.

I really like that - I have a Shadow Black Coupe on order and haven't seen many black ones so it's good to see it has presence.

Same for me, the first picture shows a fantastic depth to the colour. I know that these blue shades can look a bit variable when photographed, my Porsche 944 S2 race car is painted a very similar blue and it does the same thing depending on the light but in the flesh the variability is not as noticeable.

I also feel the light solid colours really suit the S550, its a fairly angular design and those colours seem to soften it a touch and shrink the car a touch despite also really standing out and just looking mega.

Ingot Silver. Swapped the bonnet for a Mongoose air ram with gloss black vents. Painted the door mirrors, side skirts, front lip and rear diffuser gloss black to match the roof colour.

Cool! and an Ecoboost too! I've ordered the same spec but without the black roof. It was hard choosing the colour. I started with silver, then red, then blue then back to silver! Somehow, the silver with black highlights stands out the most for me, especially when polished and tyres dressed etc! It seems to show up all the curves and haunches the most! Great car and great mods. Hows your car been? So many people express nothing but contempt for the Ecoboost, which is a shame as it puts many owners off from sharing info on here, which actually makes me want one even more! I've always loved the underdog! Good work and great colour!

I'm starting to think maybe I'd have preferred the Grabber Blue. I really had my eye on DIB, but I was too late to order it.

PS. Nice location for a photoshoot, I recognise those bridges!

I recognise the bridges location - my mum used to have a cottage there. My Magnetic Grey Mustang has just been offloaded at Zeebrugge and should be in Edinburgh by the end of the month (ordered mid September). Like most new owners I'll wait a bit before taking delivery (Steve's fine with that). I saw a Magnetic Grey version in the Showroom recently and for me it's the colour that hits the spot as I've always loved Bentleys and Astons in this. I remember on Wheeler Dealers way back they resprayed a Bentley in Storm Grey (much the same as magnetic) and I was smitten at that point.

Depending on how long ago you were there, it may well have been mine you saw in the showroom! smile

That guards grey colour is fantastic. Kind of reminds of the tvr colour, think it was reflex charcoal. Black but turned green and all sorts under different light.

I wonder why they discontinued it. Too expensive?

Absolutely no logic to their colour choices.

They discontinued CO, one of the most popular colours, yet introduced another variant of one of the least popular, white.

I don't think introducing a slightly different shade of an unpopular colour is going to help sales. Let's be honest, how many people would not buy a Mustang because it didn't come in the exact right colour?

I wanted DIB to start with until I discovered it wasn't the colour I thought it was, so I went for white. At no point did I think "well that's it then, no Mustang for me!". biggrin

Oh, and white was, and IS, the fastest colour!

So much want in this thread hehe

Going to have to wait for another 6 months of depreciation (if that happens...) before they fall into my bracket!

Gotta say, white was never going to be the colour I'd pick, but I *love* the Martini stripe.
