Hello all,

I've got a 66 plate GT, and I've noticed a peculiarity at speed. When travelling above 80mph, the bonnet adjacent to the windscreen starts to flutter. The oscillations don't seem to be too bad, but become more pronounced at speed.

Is anyone else afflicted by the same issue, or should I be booking in for (another) visit to the dealer?

This is normal for S550 Mustang. Fitting hood struts does help somewhat if you're irritated by it but it's not something to be concerned about.

I noticed some fluttering at 135 last weekend on the track.. I have the struts fitted, but don't see a way in which they help when collapsed under a closed bonnet.

I wouldn't worry about it though, it's not like it's made by GM or Kia.
You could always fit some Hood Clips, like they have fitted on the GT 350R racer :
