I was looking to buy a 1960's mustang, and was wondering how much you reakon it would cost to do a complete rebuild?

Why would you want to do a complete rebuild when there are so many complete Mustangs about? Since it holds the record as the quickest selling car in automotive history, there are lots about, either original or restored.
If you are still keen on the rebuild route, there are suppliers that will provide every single nut, bolt, wire, panel etc for a Mustang, such is their popularity. There is another thread about Mustangs where Mikey T provided some useful links, if you check those out, plus some of the ads in mags such as Classic American, that can give you some leads. Or look up your nearest American car club and get along to the next meet. Seems like almost every other American fan has owned a Mustang at some time.

If its a 60's mustang you're after.......
How about a 1968 manual 390GT fastback....Just like the one in the movie Bullitt. The car will soon be in primer, so if its Highland green you're after this puppy's the car for you. The car is missing an engine, boot lid, and fuel filler cap. There is still a tax disc on the screen showing 1974. and the reg number is
UUC8 the chassis number is 8T02S136*** with red interior. I am going to list her on ebay in a week or so. johnny the prof
