Hi All,

Have any of you fitted the Autowatch Ghost immobiliser to your cars - I have a 2018 Mustang arriving in a couple of months to replace my 17 and am thinking of upgrading my security. Already have the standard alarm plus tracker fitted and the tracker will be transferred to the new vehicle but am hearing that thieves can now bypass both with software available on the internet

I've done a little bit of research, some company's recommend the Ghost others say it's over complicated and recommend a Cobra A4615P with driver recognition so any first hand knowledge from you all would be great

Hi

I have had a Ghost on my car for 3 years now, once you get used to pressing in a button sequence before you start you will barely notice it is there. The Ghost will protect your car even if someone takes your keys, most people put the driver recognition tags on the keyring which makes them pointless if they get your keys.

Thanks for the reply, one more question, do u have issues with the valet mode when servicing? Or do you trust your dealership with the sequence?

No problems with service, I pop it in service mode and they don't know it is there.

I think the valet service deactivates when driving more than 30 mph.
Only issue is that I had to provide the code to my dealership as they needed to do a test driving to check some features not working. Changing the code is straight forward anyway.
