Brake pads

Can anybody tell me who actually makes the front brake pads, and the type of compound used on a 2016 Mustang GT fitted with Brembo 6 pot caliper's. I did waste 20 mins of my life by going to a main dealer but as ever they had no idea.

I believe they are produced by Ferodo (though not branded as such). I don't think anyone except the Ford brake engineers in the US will be able to tell you the compound. We've been using Ferodo DS2500 for track day customers (also cheaper than the stock pads). Pagid do an RS29 option but very, very expensive.

Thank you for the quick reply.
We will be going for a low dust ceramic pad, ( it's my brothers car ) I have just had a full set of DS2500's fitted to my Monaro, and the amount of dust is unreal, so again a ceramic pad is on the cards as a replacement.
The reason I asked about the stock pad compound on the Mustang was the very good initial bite even when cold, we would like to keep that trait with any new pads. However the amount of brake dust on the Mustang was again quite high so we want to reduce that.
