Mach 1 on order 17/03/2022 est del date 10/10/2022 spec price £59,430 now saw that UK price increase to £62,650 will the dealer expect the current price on the actual collection day and what do you reckon could be the delivery date?
£62,650 for a UK spec Mach 1?!? Where they've taken half of the spec out versus the US model?Squirrelofwoe said:

If you have a confirmed order form with the original price on it, then that is the price you should pay.
I'm amazed they let you order a Mach 1 as late as March.
And given an estimated delivery date as early as October! I'm amazed they let you order a Mach 1 as late as March.
if it didn,t arrive to next year I wouldn,t be too upset as I was just having my Focus RS serviced and got chatting to the sales women about buying a Mustang when she said why don,t your order a new MACH 1? I didn,t know the were making a new run for 2022 my spec manual ,purple, recaro seats .regards j

I ordered a GT, also in purple, only 2 days after you (19.03.22) and I've been given an ETA of 31st December, but the dealer reckons Jan/Feb 23 is more realistic.
I'm itching to see a purple Mustang in person.

I got a call from my dealer yesterday to advise that he now has a VIN and was looking to early August for Deliveyr for mine!
That's great news! That must be coming up to a 12 month wait on yours by then isn't it??

Mine still isn’t here. It’s showing as built since February and they’re claiming logistics issues as to why it hasn’t left USA yet.
This week we’ve had an update saying it has a “technical issue” and no timeline for a fix.
Possibly been built without an electronic unit or component due to the chip shortage, for it to be fitted at a later date when it becomes available? This week we’ve had an update saying it has a “technical issue” and no timeline for a fix.
This is about a month old but the situation is about the same:
"April 28 (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co (F.N) confirmed late on Thursday it will halt production next week at its Flat Rock plant where it assembles the Mustang because of a shortage of semiconductor chips.
The No. 2 U.S. automaker had previously said it had planned to idle the plant for two days this week. Automotive News reported the production cuts earlier.
Ford said on Wednesday it had built about 53,000 vehicles but not shipped them as they awaited final parts held up by the chips shortage."

There are several sites in Detroit littered with built cars.. or should I say 99% built.. Mustangs, Raptors and several luxury SUV’s. Working in the US auto trade as a #1 supplier to GM, we are experiencing major component issues, chips, steel, plastic resin and more….
After a track incident with a Tirewall in March.. I have had body panels, front bumper support parts and airbags on order for 6 weeks, no delivery expected, no dates given.. I’ve missed 4 track weekends since my accident, tough to take.
The wait will be worth it for us both..

Ford have now closed the order books on the 2022 uk models of Mach 1 .
I think production has really picked up recently - my GT that was ordered around 20th March for a Dec-Jan delivery has now been built and the dealer reckons it could potentially be in the country as early as the end of August.Gassing Station | Mustangs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
