Dealers were allocated cars that had already been spec’d by Ford. Various specs though, so you might have found what you wanted.
Indeed - and if I had wanted Auto , no Recaro seats and a different colour to what I wanted I would have been good to go !

My spec would have been available, however I decided the car was too expensive for me, plus I really like my green Mach 1 smile

It’s certainly been a bit of an eye opener in trying to order.
I’ve been lucky enough to factory order and hence spec various cars from the likes of Porsche , Audi and Aston and even my last new Ford of whatever year it was ( Focus ST Mountune ) seemed a much easier and more predictable outcome !

Tbh the whole experience thus far has hardly been as good as perhaps you might expect when you actually want to spend a relatively large amount of money.

Probably - from the US forums looks like the spec is virtually unchanged anyway other than certain colours deleted and as standard no longer grabber blue callipers but red.
No new colours mentioned either.

I am not due to go and see it next weekend. My son actually wants to see it as a potential replacement for his 718 Boxster. Cars always look better-or worse- when you see them in the metal. I think he is more interested in the Dark Horse variant but at least this will give him a general idea of its overall proportions and looks.

£75k is that a mark up on the Ford list price ?

IIRC, the list price would be around £68k
