Amongst the Mustangers both myself and a few freinds did our american car experience apprenticeship on these dear cars.
In my time i have owned 2x71 Mach1's a 69 390BB Mach1,
and a 72 351 HO,,and good times they were too

My Pony's so far have been
1981 Mustang cobra with Nitrous injected 302,
1988 Mustang LX Special Service pack police intereptor, and currently a 1993 Mustang GT with Nitrous injected 302 with lots of go faster goodies.

The only Mustang I had was a metallic grey rhd 1981 3.3 Ghia with a calendar instead of a speedometer (95bhp.whoooooaaa), shiny wood, ridiculously expensive metric tyres and slippery seats. It handled and cruised at 80 OK though.

Worst thing about it was the Capri III rear lights that were a part of the rhd conversion and the fact that when you put high beam on, the trip switch in the headlamp switch would overload and plunge you into a dark abyss.
