Cameo this Stang in a good movie! It did good for the 440 Charger . . .

Funny you should mention that... The still shot you included is from the movie Bullit (starring Steve McQueen in the title role), the star car of which was a Mustang -- and Ford recently offered a Bullit Mustang, in the previous generation...

I like the way the design team managed to pick up cues from the second generation 'stang without making it look too retro. The colour combination is a natural (worked for the Toyota 2000S, too).

The Mustang was the original 'pony car' (as opposed to muscle cars). Sadly, the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, the only other 2 cars competing in that segment for decades, have been discontinued...

You got the hint and you know your classics. Cars develop though . . . here's the 'Camaro'

Nasty, it looks like it belongs in 2 fast 2 furious, the GTR stickers on the front are a bit too much like the ones on the Holden(GM) Torana GTR XU1 albeit without the XU1. I thought it was supposed to be taking cues out of their own motorsport history rather than GM's.

I agree with fto2tuscan, the regular Mustang looks girly but this GT-R looks like a serious piece of machinery.

Boy racer? The Mustangs may be cheap, partly due to exchange rates, but the performance of the car has nothing to do with boyracing. Say that and you may as well class Corvettes, Evos, Supras etc etc as boy racer cars. The Mustang hasn't even been released here to attain a boy racer image.

Ford need to export it though...
