Does anyone know where the extra 40 bhp comes from over the tuscan S? And can anyone see any reason why I won't be able to have it on my Sagaris?

HI.. its generated from a slighly larger engine capacity which is 4.2 opposed to the 4.0 which will be used on the Sagaris.. the Sagaris engine has had a few mods over the Tuscan S,which will give it more power and obviously superior handling for track use..

I guess I'll have to make do with a mere 400bhp then.

I wished they'd hurry up and glue a few together, though I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Err, confused, what are the engine improvments that will provide "obviously superior handling"??

I think Nick is simply referring to the improved suspension, stiffness and aerodynamics (particularly downforce) that are part of the Sagaris package. Combined with the wider track and fatter tyres this should make the Sagaris much quicker than a Tuscan S round a track, though I'm sure some would argue about the interpretation of the word 'handling', e.g. delicacy and adjustability versus outright grip, though I don't think the Tuscan S is famed for delicacy or adjustability!

Yes was referring to the better handling package that comes with the Sagaris and mated with the modified engine and wider track which will produce a proper race car which TVR intend in using in the GT3 class races...
