When you sleep you get the Well Rested Bonus so you level faster.

You could have be a higher level than you are now if you had slept more.

Main quests, do you just mean the Dragons/Blades & civil war stuff. Have you done the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, The Companions, College of Winterhold, & Divines quests, Bards College,

If you've not slept you wouldn't have done the Dark Brotherhood.

And forget about marriage and children, you get a small amount of gold for a wife/husband who sets up a shop even if (with mods) you have a house in the middle of nowhere and the children are just annoying brats.

Do you have any DLC, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, Dragonborn?

Ps. 100 hrs, you are about 25% through. smile
thieves guild ive been tasked to find 24 unusual gems, i cant be fked with that lol.

I have them dlc yes, ive done dragonborn and ive done dawnguard, not sure on hearthfire, college of winterhold i have also done.

Help me chaps.

I didnt realise id become a vampire again, fking hate this.

Anyway ive tried to speak to the guy in morthal but no option comes up for me to talk to him about being cured, i cant seem to feed on anyone when sleeping, only pickpocket, im at a dead end.

I think i may of fked it up as i killed loads of people in morthal, went to jail but now i dont think alvas there anymore etc. I really want to be cured and dont want to have to go back loads of saves and do missions all over again.

Any ideas?
Join the companions guild, become a werewolf. you are then immune to all diseases, including becoming a vampire, and it does not impact on playstyle.

You sound like someone who continually needs tasks in a list ~:-)

Just wonder around, see what you stumble on. Get, stealth about it, cause mayhem, run away, stealth about some more. Go find utterly random far corners of the playable map. Soak it in. That to me was the point. I played the main quest (eventually) on my first play through but then in my next two games I just wandered around looking for trouble and adventures. Never using roads, always wandering in the forrest etc.

Adventuring.

Like this - https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/615803-the-el...

Giant attack, wolf attack, bandit attack, some attack. Shame you are on the xbox as you can find him on a PC using console commands and resurrect him if dead, same with essential quest NPCs that Bethesda in their infinite wisdom chose not to make essential and end up dying during Dragon and Vampire attacks.

I don't know how you can play the game without ambling about? I mean, you have a quest, you are on the way to the location when you see a cave/castle/dragon/crypt and you think ooooooh I wonder what is in there.. An hour later you have finished there and amble along again. Rinse and repeat.....

It is exactly the same as Fallout. I had a friend complete it in about 25 hours. No idea how. In 25 hours I am still faffing about no-where near the objectives or story line!

Assassin's Creed is similar, and I tend to travel the 'world' exploring, picking up resources and triggering fast travel points.

Then, when I get into the game proper, I don't have to spend hours traipsing around the map trying to find something by it's description only - which is difficult if you don't recognise the description - or it says 'south west of xxx village' when you've no idea where that village is.

Currently 120 hours into Odyssey and there are plenty of side quests to keep you busy, and away from the shorter main quest - and no need to worry about overpowering the earlier quests as they scale up to your level (which is a bit silly in some cases as a wolf that took 4 swipes at Level 1, takes the same 4 swipes at L63 with a weapon that does 40 times the damage).

And if anyone new who hasn't played it an absolute must is the total Skyrim mod Enderal.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnracFjiC_k

https://enderal.com/ - Skyrim only (not Skyrim Special Edition).

30hrs if you rush past everything and ignore all of the other quests, places and things (no idea why anyone does that with a game they have bought) up to 100 hours of gameplay. Very big free DLC and is really a completely new Skyrim engine based game.

I must try that again, all I remember about it is it's much harder than Skyrim and something about "fk those wolves" biggrin

Edit: Oh cool it's on Steam, hopefully that should make set-up nice and simple

Just turned into a vampire for the first time, always tried to avoid it. Proper blood boiling in the sun vampire. Found the guy who is supposed to be able to cure it and bought the black soul gem from him. Then it went completely tits up and every one attacked me on sight even my follower.

In the end I had to backtrack to an earlier save when I was only a little infected then cured myself at a shrine.

Console or PC? If PC install this - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9717 you get menu option to reverse the Vampire effects on character, you get weaker the longer you don't feed and also removes the NPC attacking you. It's quite a useful thing if you want to make the game harder because you still have the no stamina/health regen in sunlight (you can indoors or in shadows).

Few of the options -

Or something like this to add or remove at will - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11965/ there's a combined one that covers Vampire and Werewolf too (also allows you to have both at the same time) this - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37658/ I think you can turn off and off Vampirism and Werewolf too.

Both Vampire and Werewolf abilities can be useful, if you need to kill someone for the Dark Brotherhood and you can only do it in the open were there are witnesses you can turn into a Werewolf to kill them then escape and turn back and you will not be tagged as a criminal.

And with Vampirism you can control another NPC and make them do it smile

Yes I have I'm also using an OLED tv for it. Colours are superb you can put boost mode in settings and decide if you like it. As typical with an OLED inside caves is black, really black.

Even better, I too have an OLED TV (makes watching the F1 in UHD incredible!)... Will have to try this game again then..
