not a great fan of teh web interface. I bought mine from Origin, and I finally activated the game, had a few games but there isn't a manual, and I don't know how to remap the keys .
Bed time now, but I won't be able to play the game for 4 weeks.
you can view the manual from the origin game select screen. to remap the keys press esc in game and and go into the options.Bed time now, but I won't be able to play the game for 4 weeks.

The manual I get from Origin is only generic warnings about epilepsy, and when I press escape from within the game, I get a pop up asking if I want to quite the game.Lol, sounds like the standard Battlefield release woes. I'm suprised those that did manage to install managed to get on a server!
Mine's winding it's merry way to my door at the moment. Should be delivered today, so i can spend all weekend trying to install it by the sounds of it!
Did anyone else order with Amazon? I just got an e-mail with a code for a SPECAT Kit download. I knew i was getting the extra maps for free but didnt know about this specat thing. Nice little bonus.

I had to install Origin in safe mode to get the thing to actually run .. I don't know if it is Comodo or something that doesn't like it. It still seems really slow to start (I already have Steam for this EA you bunch of *$*£("#!)
What key bindings are people using, just the default ones? I tried swapping them around but might go back to default, I just don't like x/z for crouch/prone much.

Yeah, I got it through Amazon as well. Will certainly help for the first few hours of gameplay whilst levelling up for the better weapons.

What drivers are the ATI users running?
11.10 preview 3 ?
How are they?
I am currently running the preview 3 with no issues.11.10 preview 3 ?
How are they?
Thought there may have been an official release of 11.10 before BF3 launched actually - wonder how many people know about the preview drivers
That's all installed fine, no real problems:
Auth went through ok, downloaded from disk at about 9.7MB/s, downloaded the patch at 2MB/s, only hiccup was that I needed to update the browser plugins (still had the BF3 beta installed) but was prompted to do so and once installed everything works.
Played a whole 15 minutes so far - seems great 'though some people are already WAY too good. Wonder how may hours they have played to level so far in a few days
If you are playing on speakers then I can recommend trying a decent pair of headphones and setting the audio to 'wartapes' - the sound design is probably the stand-out part of BF3 imo
