Stock market just pissed me off.

Doing the Lester Missions. Came out of the final heist with $30.2 million each. Put it all into Debonaire with each person and did the mission. Held out to around 80% (Had started to slow quite a bit for me) then sold. Invested it all back into Redwood (About $56 million each). Waited days and no change. Waited around a week and nothing. So decided to cut my losses and sell (Only lost $12k with Trevor on it.) Switch to Michael to sell up... Up 300%!!! So Mike and Franklin have $226 million each, but Trevor only has $56m! Bit annoying as I can't go back as far as I can see!
That's still enough to buy every thing you can buy in the game though isn't it?

Just cull anyone who hasn't added themselves to the wiki by the weekend or X date. If they have joined the crew and haven't been checking the forum or any messages on the crew page, it's safe to say they aren't active enough.
This is the plan. It says in the crew status to add yourself or get kicked out.
Come to think of it, it's nearly the 1st eek

It'll be a massive ballache going back and forth between the forum and the club list.
I'd say start a new one tbh...that way you'll only get people that are actually playing it.
Yea but it's probably easier to do this than to make the logo again hehe
If some of the other commisioners or even Fabric himself deign to lend a hand it'll be even easier wink

R* seem very aware of the garage glitch when cars are disappearing, they have said it will be a priority patch and that it appears to happen everytime if you park or borrow a car from one of the other characters garages. This set me thinking, if that is the case when the patch sorts it then Franklin should be able to do the upgrades for everyone elses cars at his LSC shop and then deliver to everyones garage, free maximum upgrades smile
Yep NUTS sums it up perfectly
I assumed buying it would make all LSCs free for all characters. PITA to have to drive back and forth, it's not like you'll ever find something like an Infernus or a Comet out there so you've got to get one in LS and drive it up yourself rolleyes.
Why did they make it that one confused

Have you ever heard anybody say "There we go, I have enough money now..." before? hehe

I imagine it is because that one is pretty much central to the map.

I like reading all the complaints about money and how many millions everyone has.

My characters have about $100 each!!!

I'm spending too much time messing about having huge gun fights with the cops and prison guards to do any missions.

Plus the less money they have, the less I lose to the hospital when I inevitably die after a gun fight laugh

Really must start doing some missions!

More than likely. Still just a bit annoying! I do realise how petty I'm sounding too hehe

Exactly. Whats the point if there is nothing to do with it? I saw someone on here with over a billion each but with nothing more to spend it on whats the point. Does owning property (even the golf course) actually do anything?

I just finished the story and have about £35m each with little or nothing of interest to do with it. Im just going to piss around now.

Or does the money have a bearing on the online mode? I thought everyone started from scratch?

I think you do start from scratch.

To be honest, I have no need for all this money. I haven't bought a single property or car yet, Just wanted to see how high I can get my balance too. Purely to add a bit extra to the game now the story is finished. Then see what else there is. Never know, any DLC in the future may add more things that need purchasing! smile

You can try a bit hard with these things, if we weren't all online looking for the 'perfect' combination of stock trades and mission order to get 'that billion' we'd just pick up and do the missions in the order we fancy, exploring and learning as we go, making a few mistakes here and there and relishing the times when things go right because we either skilfully read between the lines of just lucked into it - the whole point of these open world / sandbox games is the freedom to do as you please, not follow the 'perfect route'.

I've spend the last few playing sessions agonising because I pimped out Trevor's truck after he got the first lump of cash which only left me with $140k when it was time to buy the airfield, after a disastrous spin on the stock market and a few interactions with fast moving scenery I've only got $100k and I'm faced with the horrifying thought of doing Lester's second hit before I've done the final heist - which I don't even know about it (in the game world) - the horror! _I've had a word with myself and I'm just going to play the thing, I know I'll go through it again trying the different options anyway.

Or maybe that's a bit too deep on a Friday afternoon for what is just a game to fill in the blanks of life haha. wink

I don't tend to spend ANY cash on weapons at all as i use the hidden weapon locations for ammo. Upgrades to weapons i tend to use the current glitch. smile

I’m not too fussed about money in game. Michael has about 750k, Trevor has around 60k and Franklin around 20k.

A couple of people have had their input vanish from the Wiki, could be that someone else was editing it at the same time as you so yours would have vanished if they pressed submit after you. Have you managed to get them back on yet?

The purge on that group starts on Sunday so as long as you get your details back on the Wiki you should find a spot by the end of the weekend thumbup

Finished the story. Still got a lot to do, I've never got 100% on a game, doubt I will on this either, do you need Gold on every mission for 100%?

Theoretically only one person can edit at a time (if someone else is editing when you click the edit link it says so)
You can look at old versions and see who removed your name though wink

Also theoretically, after the purge we should have loads of space as those who really are just filling out spaces cos they're not paying any attention won't be re-joining and we're currently looking at only about 100 on the wiki so there'll be 200 slots, more than enough for those who are waiting to join and those who have somehow vanished from the wiki to rejoin. I hope.

Although if this all fails we can just start an overflow crew and then a few people can join both crews so it's not just 10 people on their own not able to link up with the rest of us smile

Awesome, thanks.

Can't wait to play this online, roll on Tuesday (or more likely Thursday by the time the internet recovers from the pounding it's about to receive from all the GTA V players biggrin)

The transatlantic fibres melt under the strain? The heat generated will boil the atlantic, causing a release of the carbon trapped therein, leading to a catastrophic cascade of rising CO2 levels and rising temperatures causing further oceanic boiling.

Is it possible this will bring down ISPs, DNSes, international exchanges etc? I mean, matchmaking may go through R* servers but the majority of replication of in-game variables will be peer to peer right? So even if R* servers stand up, other bits of the internet might not?
