Following on from the Total Annihilation thread, anyone here remember / played online at Wireplay?

Many a hour lost on Wireplay Quake or Team Fortress.

I was even on TV due to it, they showed some of the TFC games on a Gaming satellite channel

I won the first ever tournament on the Wireplay beta service on the Actua Euro 96 football game. The prize was a years supply of Snickers bars.

With regards to TFC, who did you play as/for? I spent many an hour on there. Even won some of the leagues/ladders etc. not to mention the euro competitions or Insomnia LAN events...

I used to play Duke3D and Descent on wireplay in the late 90s. Ran up some pretty large bills as I recall

I played as OutKast / 3sixty. Played in UKTFL, WPTFL and CTFL.

Played in way too many clans to name over around 10 years of playing. IR, EF, h4x, KIA are the most 'famous' I guess.
