I cannot believe they have improved on the first one but they have, they have tidied and polished the basic game. In addiction to that they have added in lots and lots of weapons, mission types, landing zones and mech suits! Some mention of super powers it haven't explored that yet.

Very very happy with this BARGAIN! If they released this size DLC every year I would gladly pay £30 for it. Very refreshing.

Had a very interesting moment returning to the LZ wit my mech under the cover of snipers as the rest of the squad had been wiped out. Think I have lost more soldiers already this campaign then I lost in my last two play throughs of enemy unknown!

Finished my first playthrough of enemy within last night.

The changes certainly force you to play differently. Snipers have allegedly been slightly nerfed - although I barely noticed. They're still angels of death.

I really enjoyed it, but I really enjoyed everything since rebelstar raiders.

Currently half price on XBOX live, so if you were thinking about picking it up, now is the time.

(biggest hitters this time were Doyle the close combat MEC and "The Baroness" - the previously mentioned invisible, 120 aim double tap death from above sniper. Everyone else just picked up the bits)

Holy thread resurrection Batman.

Picked up a large bundle of UFO/XCOM games on the Humble Bundle the other week, having played the earlier ones years ago started with Enemy Unknown. Liking it so far but really not liking the inventory system compared to the earlier versions. One thing in the backpack, so if you want them to wear the nano under armour they can't carry a grenade, or use the SCOPE, WTF? Much prefer the older system with stuff on their belts and in their backpacks, and the ability to transfer things between people, and limited in what they could carry based on their strength.

Think there's a perk you can research to carry more items.
