Post over on Reddit mentions that 1.03 disables the R2 to repeat option. Any verification?

Just tried to R2 restart a Gerald mission .... no luck. Have to earn money the old fashioned way now.

Just spent an hour with a gang of guys doing 1 lap bike races, a good laugh and $50k to bank at the end

Yeah I think 1 lap races will be the next patch.

1 Lap 1v1 on criminal records in super cars takes around 30 seconds nets you 690 rp for a win and $2000. You then still have the legit option of replaying it.
Plus you have to win races to unlock your car mods. So just alternate with a friend. Or tell a friend that its not the winning that counts and beat him over and over.

See it'd make a lot of sense to have the prize money scaled on number of laps, I guess it doesn't do that?
No big prize endurance races for us then
They could have an option to switch off re-spawning your car too

Did a few races with the PH boys last night, good fun !

Right, 1.03 patched RT reply mission.

So farming missions for money and RP is not longer possible (until someone finds another exploit), and we are back to the first days of GTA5O farming method.

There has always been a legit RP farming method, you can replay as many times as you want and the results are not bad.

1000RP base, 5K for winning.

Takes around 2mins from start to start.

I used this method on my 2nd character, did it solo just for the RP point to level up till 15 then did VD for money.

And...all of these said, it's the race called Downtown Underground, set it up for 1 lap, no traffic, clear weather...and off you go!

I'll be hosting later tonight for a bit, basically it'll be everyone takes turns to win.

That's it, farming for RP/money is still possible!
