Thank you all. So what £150 gets me, if you are kind enough to elaborate?

I have a GTX 970 and it's runs great even at 1440p with that. You'll be able to pick one up used for around £150

Great, thanks. I'll be aiming at one of those.

I'm back at this, new play through because I never did Vault Tec or Nuka World last time, I had given up when they came out.

Finally though a great flora overhaul, keeping the colour palate of the game so you don't get the obvious cell differences and it's also got full LODS so distance trees are correctly displayed.

It's called Rust belt Flora - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22527/?

Video of it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGpdK1pBNfI

Well the Vault Tec DLC is boring.

For anyone who is fed having to wipe settlers bums and never get any thanks, Sim Settlements - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21872/?

You set out plots of building types, agriculture or any type of commercial or housing and they settlers build themselves and fill them with things.

Hmmm. I installed it, but no new options are showing up in build mode at settlements. I'm not sure what I have to do to correct this.

First post on the mod page.

"If you don't want to seek out the holotape, here's a video showing you where it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQB6FQezJgE

And here's the form ID for console commanding it in: xx00544A"

Or help "holotape" 4 and find the one ending 544a. Then player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

Once you have it they appear under the special category, there is also a management console you can build too in the section where console are.

It's very useful, just setting out areas of agriculture and habitation and leaving it. As settlers arrive they do the rest and you don't have to go back all the time building everything for them or assigning jobs.

This is I think stage 2, 2 commercial scavenging huts and 2 residential (+1 hidden behind) that have both been upgraded. no screenshot of agriculture plots but they have started using shop dummys as scarecrows.

next stage i think if building up and adding new levels. They might be too close together here though but it was my first try at sanctuary as a test site, I have put down better planned plots elsewhere but not gone back as they are taking care of themselves.

I'm having lots of fun with this. Sanctuary almost rivals Megaton now, and I have many settlements following suit.

More pictures to follow, if people are interested.

I'm looking forward to Fallout 4 VR. It promises to be the defining game of that tech.

Share more smile

I've just installed this, along with Settlement supplies expanded, homemaker, snap & build, place anywhere, scrap everything and OCDecorator and have a massive settlement going on at Sanctuary.

Sim Settlements add-on pack, power and water builders - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23125/?

Early but nice to have it expanded.

Some of my Industrial plots have now got to Lvl3 which would seem to be a two storey building.

Likewise some of my Agricultural plots are at Lvl3 which appears to add a sprinkler system
