My thoughts exactly. Mine is 7 or 8 years old as well. Still got my original controllers while being played nearly daily . Big step up from the plastic fantastic crap that the PS2 controllers were.

This looks very promising, might just push me over the edge getting the XB1 instead of the PS4 :/.

Having to install games makes me so annoyed. Ridiculous in this day and age. Ohh yeah 'but the games are so much more detailed and better'. I dont care; I dont want to sit around for two hours until I can play!

To anyone else getting this.... Take your console offline and install the game first. Then when that's done turn it back online and it will ask to install the 15gb update. I believe the technical term is "it's a st load quicker"

bks - I fell victim to "ooh shiny!" syndrome and bought this last night. Didn't get a chance to play it yet but really looking forward to getting back to that Seminal moment when you first land on Halo

All the online stuff apparently. I had the briefest of brief goes on Halo 2... It looks like a mid to late 360 game, and the cut scenes are gorgeous. Pressing the button to display the original graphics and sound is pretty cool!

It's epic now it's "fixed". It was so buggy I shelved it for years but it's great now. Halo 4 is a masterpiece.
