Theres a mod that shows if you are in radar range of a red boat. So that would tell you if you are up against a radar or smoke mino for example.

I spent the oil on increased commander xp - hope you dont mind. smile
I'm not sure it does. It will state in range of a mino regardless of what is loaded. That was my experience previously anyhow.

Yeah as said that sort of info as far as I'm aware isn't available to other players. First you will know of a radar Mino is when they light you up.

Freakin' amazing news - Bath Tub battles are returning for April Fool event - shown on the NA WoWs stream just now & no doubt will be on the EU stream tomorrow.

I cannot believe original Bath Tub event was 6 years ago?!

Can't wait biggrin

Started playing again over xmas/new year after a 2 year break, Co-Op has gotten horrendously bad so I started to enjoy Operations instead now that they're randomised and T6-T8 but within a month I realised why I quit playing last time - the sub-human, one brain-cell, negative IQ morons that are my team mates.

I played just over 120 operations and I like to use MM Monitor which tells you the other players WR % etc and despite not thinking that I am particularly good at this game as a 52%WR player (nowhere near Unicum or better), I was easily top of the team 90%+ and the average WR of my team mates over 120+ matches was <46% with less than 30% WR players being seen in about every 3-4 games.

The general player base skill levels have dropped so unbelievable far in two years away that it's shocking to see the difference. I realised I was getting more and more angry at the players, rather than the enemy bots, as these sub-humans are people who can't/don't/won't read and understand simple instructions that WG put into every Op like "Defend Raptor CV" or "Defend French BB Ruan" as everyone goes off chasing a billions things instead of the one thing that guarantees a win and I quickly realised that being angry isn't what I play games for.

So I'm out again, just uninstalled for another few years I suppose.

On a final, positive, note I liked the economy/signals/camo split but despite being a great idea I really feel that it made Premium Ship XP an absolute waste of time.

Thought wargaming.net blocked/banned mods that showed win rates on WoWS after the debacle over WoT where a popular mod would do the same with the result of players quitting battles/drowning themselves if members of their own teams had too low a ratio or the opposing team to high. 45-55% is average for all players and anyone with far higher or far lower rate is suspicious. Higher is often seal clubbers who stay at lower level. Think in World of Warplanes the top 15-20 players never played anything else bar tier 1 or 2.

Ranked & Brawls are the most fun, most of the time.

I still don't understand why so many people are so keen to beat up another player because of their win rate?

It's literally a game, unless you are dealing with the ones who deliberately throw a battle why let it annoy you?

Why let it bother me? - I want to win and when I consistently come top of the team I don't like to lose due to the poor peormance of everyone else in a team. We're talking about team of 7 humans who can't beat simple bots, that should be a win 95% of the time at its lowest, but it isn't and that's solely down to the very low skill levels of so many players nowadays.

Why "Beat up" players over their Win Rate - this is versus bots and these players are so low skilled that even WG's bots are better players and the way to guess, with 95%+ accuracy, the skill of a player is win rate. If a player is so epically low skilled at the game they are in reality a hindrance to everyone else but because of Dunning-Kruger they have no idea how bad they are, so they happily go around ruining games left and right.

Again, this is versus bots and almost every loss I had in Ops had 6 players out of 7 with a WR lower than average (48% is avg, these were under 46% down to just 30%). Doing really, really well but watching 6 morons do nothing (or something monumentally stupid) until the op fails match after match after match after match after match just isn't fun which is why I stopped, because I'm not a masochist.

These are simple things to understand even if you disagree with them.

When I played WoWP I used to occasionally take a break from the grind by playing tier 2 planes and just hunting down the seal clubbers, leaving the few (if any) other players alone - mainly bots in that game.

Didn't realise the win rate was with players just in Co-Op and events. Note the latter the bots are a lot tougher at higher levels and can defeat even decent seasoned players. Wargaming.net put the same bots in co-op for a few weeks, then removed them again as the player win rate dropped through the floor (think it was under 10% !!).

I'm on the verge of chucking it again for the summer. Randoms - about 1 game in every 10 is anywhere near enjoyable.

Was playing 4v4 brawls the other day and 3 games in a row I got a team mate who just hid and did nothing.

Ranked is generally the safest bet these days. (Unless we organise some clan training rooms)

Just remember if your team is losing, to quote The Mighty Jingles, "Chicks dig scars" - i.e. go out in a blaze of glory, don;t run wink Repair costs are the same whether you live or sink.
