k me it's good, then bad then good. one good game one bad. still the same when i was playing this all the time back a month or 2 ago. Dog Star said:

It's mental. I just like driving/flying around it for no reason whatsoever, or buzzing other players in my stuntplane.V1.11 just arrived in my downloads, presumably the Prise de Tahure map.

ETA: It is Prise de Tahure, I'm not a fan of night maps and this one isn't likely to sway me, it's Amiens with the lights off and a town square essentially, another copy and paste of existing buildings into a slightly different formation and then they have turned the brightness down and added lights that are apparently bulletproof.
Very easy to get stuck against an object you can't see very well which slows progress a bit, familiarity with the layout will help of course but I found it rather dull.
Played ~10 games, got the Codex entry, I won't rush back and am unlikely to choose it if it comes up as a choice at the end of a match. Only a max of 80 people playing the map in Europe when I looked on the server browser, apparently nobody was playing the other night map at all.

Its been done to death over which one is best. If you really are just going to play BF series or COD series and have no interest in an Platform only games (like some racing games and stuff) then go for either a. the cheapest or b. most future proof.Theres always 'clans' recruiting and eventually youll build up a friends list either from this site or other sites

Only really playing now to collect medals but the ones I need never seem to come up on the rotation.
ETA: They just pushed out one of those "interface updates" that doesn't seem to make any updates to the interface so perhaps that's in response to the matchmaking issue?

v1.12 update (08212017) just appeared on my machine, 6.8GB
Just thought I'd warn you in case you want to jump on for a quick online game anytime soon.
I haven't had chance to play yet but apparently they still haven't fixed basics like some of the lighting issues when transitioning from indoors to outdoors etc. I can't find release notes for it so no idea what it's actually supposed to add.

the new update included a new map from the upcoming expansion for premium owners didn't it?
