Yep my flareon one is negative values and counting up at the moment.

Made a muck up yesterday too. Fecking evolved a crap magicarp when I meant to send to the prof frown
lol, heyho... its only 400 candies wasted!!

I have mentioned before on here but I bet you won't be feeling as bad as my boy (9yo) did when he transferred his newly evolved Arcanine when what he wanted to do was favourite it! We'd walked about 50-odd km and transferred every last Growlithe to get him. He had an Arcanine for about 30 seconds!

We did eventually get him another one.

Yep. The gyardos is now my buddy to build up candies. Has 125 left after i mucked up so not as bad as starting from scratch. Covering 50 to 60 miles a week just now walking the dog so hopefully wont be too long to get past 400 again. Just need to find a decent magicarp to evolve when I get there now.

Hearing it's a bit more difficult than the dogs have been, more along the Lugia lines and requires a larger group of players.

They were everywhere how!

For my Hu-Oh, never seen that many people out in a small town, think there must have been about 30 people so split into the 3 teams and not many people had an usuccessful catch,

As a bit of a science geek, I would be concerned about extrapolating the numbers from one of 92 counties, in one of 50 states, in one of 195 countries in the world. They have a population in that county of around 175,000, over 500 square miles.

I would suspect that the necessary controls and assumptions related to IQ and motoring factors probably haven't been applied in a very robust way in extrapolation either, but this suspicion is based on the huge conclusions derived from such a small sample size. (See, at least I've stated the basis of my assumptions, as I've not yet read the 49 page study.)

The reporting of this "news" should also include a link to the published study. The abstract of the study, and perhaps from there the full study can be found at the following link:

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_i...

(Calling a scientific study "Death By Pokemon Go" is a little inflammatory too.)

The release of the first 50 gen 3 Pokemon is imminent. Are many here still bothering?

Gyms are turning over slowly but steadily, I tend to paint the 5 in my local small town blue, and get coins and Pokemon back over the next couple of days. Some stay in a week though.

The weather feature that is coming with Gen 3 sounds a bit pants, yet another thing that I can't control in the game. After water for rain and ice for snow, I began to struggle a bit. Fire for sun? Flying for wind? Electric for thunder and lightening storms? It's not like I'm going to go out in a downpour to get a slightly stronger Magikarp, and if it snows, I'll be playing in the snow, not looking for a Lapras.

We need the ability to battle between people together, and trade as well.

The weather has changed the dynamics of raids, a group of 7 of us that normally decimate ho-oh went out with the weather being clear so it had a 25% bonus to its attack, totally changed the raid!

Enjoying the updates, I don't really know gen 3 though

Actually deleted the game last night after having it since day 1 and being a very regular user.

Just bored of the same old thing constantly..updates offer very little variation and I was getting little to nothing from playing anymore. It became more of just a habit.
