I do but it's still the same old game. Walk about, collect animals. That's it. No progression in the least.
Being able to breed Pokémon or even cross breed would have been at least a little different.

I did happen to be in the right place at the right time and join a raid group last weekend, so also got a Lugia, but that's all on the Legendaries for me.

I'm still playing, and have a couple of friends who are too, I'm about 2/3 of the way to being level 37, and 300 Magikarp candies from the last stage on the Mew Quest.

I'm about 400K away from level 37 so about the same point. However I caught my Moltres first ball with a Pinap! Smug? Yup!
I then had to catch it for my youngest who'd chucked loads at it.
I play with my two kids and we've not done anything other than level 3 raids together.

I'm hoping that Moltres will get swapped out every couple of months or so, allowing me to work my way through the various Legendary Pokemon.

I'm busy saving my coins now for the next big box when there is an event on. They seem to be good value, but who ever has 1,500 coins?

Having a dog is helping with the kms, that's for sure.

Is there a reliable, free, API based IV Checker out at the moment for Android, or have they all been booted off? I used to use IV Go, but it's gone manual...

1 year and 9 months later, I completed the Mew quest and now have a full 151 Gen 1 dex!

Not worth the risk of getting banned, use calcy IV if you're on android.

Played this a bit when it first came out and then picked it up again recently when my girlfriend and her son got back into it.

Currently 2/3 of the way through Level 26 and I have only the one task left on the Mew quest... throw an excellent curveball; it is having my life at the moment!!! Any tips?

Also, what is the IV thing?

For Excellent Curveballs, go for Wailmer. Practice on them, there's loads at the moment, and their target is huge.

IV is like a semi-hidden kind of rating of your Pokemon. When you click on "Appraise" you get an idea of how good it is, with a set of phrases that can help you understand their background characteristics. (The wording changes based on your "team" so you'll have to google it to see what it all means, or get an app which helps.

Got my Zapdos this morning, only three more from Gen 1, I need a Tauros, Mewtoo and the other Legendary than hasn't been on research duty yet.

Seattle in November should help for the Tauros, unless it goes on tour.

I’m stuck on mew quest 5. Not seen a ghost for way over a week and still to catch a ditto too.

I think it isn't being helped by the themed events recently, pushing out the normal random spawns for specific types. I don't remember seeing a ghost type for ages. I'm sure you know, but its worth saying that only specific monsters turn into a Ditto, so it is worth concentrating on those.

I've just downloaded this on my iPhone. Quick question though - how to you find pokestops? Do they just appear on your map when near by?
