Had pretty decent of it with the current event; girlfriend and I were away in York so managed to spin loads of new stops between pubs - I went from level 29 to 31.
We got home Sunday afternoon and were relaxing in my garden with a G&T when she spotted a Snorlax on the radar... managed to catch it too!
Then today, we both took long lunches from our senior level very grown up jobs to attend an EX Raid and got our first Mewtwo. Well chuffed.

This particular event has been notable in the 4 x buddy candy only. I have been taking the dog on some pretty long walks, and am now up to 83 of the 124 candies I need for Slaking.
Otherwise, it's been a bit rubbish. I continue to save my coins for one of the 1,480 coin boxes, but have had to expand storage recently as I wait for the next double XP event to clear out a lot of grind-worthy stuff. I have nearly 100 Pidgey's to get rid of...

Wow! I thought I did well last weekend!!!I'm in a messenger chat group local to me for doing raids and the commitment of some of them to this game is unbelievable...
Got another 800k today, not bad when doing it around 14 & 16 hour shifts. Also a 98% ho oh today, received another ex raid invite too so going well.
Id love to have a shot in London or one of the big cities down south but I've been stuck in fife. Think this has been the easiest xp that they have ever given.

I need about 105 candies to get to a Slaking, which is about all I need that I can get through evolution. It's my buddy, but 5km a candy.
That was the 15th May, and tomorrow's dog walk should see me hit the magic 124 candies. I have apparently only ever seen 4 Slakoths, and caught 3 of them. The 4x candy and dog walking got me there really. I use my rare candy when I get them on my Metagross, so it's been all walking.I need about 105 candies to get to a Slaking, which is about all I need that I can get through evolution. It's my buddy, but 5km a candy.
Anyhow, anyone want to be my "Friend" as I have a load of these "gift" things, no real life friends who play, and seemingly you can't bin the gifts...
