I feel there is a discussion required on the new walking stuff, I've attached to the Google Fit thingy, but only have a phone, no watch or anything. What is it counting vs not counting?

I'm here for another 4 days. Not seen a single Torkoal though, but I have it in my dex already via a trade so they won't show up as prominently on the nearby.
I'm also levelling up friendships with some of you tomorrow (Saturday), planning to do it at 10am as it's the start of the Gengar raids.

For someone like me who does a lot of treadmill running, Adventure Sync is brilliant.
On my Android phone, I installed Google Fit - which I then setup to record a treadmill run. When I finished, the app had measured the distance I ran to within 50 metres (on a 6K run, I thought that was pretty decent accuracy).
Opened up Pokemon Go, and it had given me the full 6K distance towards an egg hatch. As a bonus you get weekly rewards for the distance you've covered.

Yeah, even pottering about the house today got me 1.2k when before I would get zilch from that. I tend to walk about 30-50k a week normally but PGo would only ever see about 3-5k of it before adventure sync.

Just to reply to my own post - I read a blog that suggests Pokemon Go will only record your treadmill steps/distance if Google Fit calculates that you ran at 10.5KPH or less. This means I missed 12KM of steps/distance last week because I ran too fast louiebaby said:

Here, been travelling a bit recently though which is good for picking up spins etc. but not so good for getting time to do gifts every day.Gutted.

On CET so any time in the evening will probably suit. I only have 1 Lucky Egg though.
