Well, it would appear that sadly the X-bow and I simply do not get on.... even with camber changes to lessen the oversteer, and using ABS, I can only manage a dismal time by comparison!
With a controller, I just can't precisely correct a little slide - either I undercorrect and it goes into unrecoverable oversteer, or I overcorrect and fire it off in the other direction.....

Yeh it was a fun drive for sure.

Like the look of the wheel stand, currently I have mine bodged onto an old computer desk (the wheel is on the slide out keyboard shelf and the wheels on the base). it's pretty uncomfortable, are the wheel stands adjustable? I play on the settee and it's a pretty low seat which means I'm sat up and uncomfortable when playing.

I like Spa but I'm not very competitive, hopefully get some time Thursday/Friday to have a blast.

I got a GT omega stand and I much prefer it to my friends wheel stand pro. Height can be adjusted easily. I have mine on the lowest setting as I sit on a bucket seat on side mount rails (I'll put it in the car eventually!) And it's quite comfy, my only criticism is ID like to adjust the angle of the pedals but aside from that, so far so good.

Lol, there's gotta be loads of time out there still(learning curve) my first lap was a 1:26.

Eau Rouge is absolutely crucial. I had so many laps where I got it just ever so slightly too fast in, drifted over the kerb at the top and invalidated the lap. I also had a lot of laps where I played it safe, went too slow in and lost all my momentum - costing me several seconds as it bogged down

Iv just fitted a new (to me) pioneer pdp lx6090 plasma, so I'll rock a few laps out later if I get the chance between blu rays and rewatching game of thrones , I'm itching to have a little play on rainbow six siege

Eau Rouge was ok, soft braking on the dip bit of light brake whilst on throttle to keep it legal. The right/left at the top at Les Combs and the similar right/left at Fagnes were the worst bits for me.

Some good times there! No matter how much I try to improve on mine, I'm either slower or I cut the corner at Eau Rouge.

I've been itching to do a Group C challenge for ages, but only with the console release of the 787 DLC has there been a free car for everyone on all platforms - the Merc and Porsche are both paid DLC on PC. So, rejoice everyone!
