I was in a free roam party last night which had the most hilarious argument going on between and American and a Scottish fella - had me chuckling for ages.

Most people have the nail on the head. Arguably I could keep this whole thing and the community going but there's only so much you can do with the same things and the limitations of the game system. The other problem is just how people don't have as much time to get all the new stuff we might have played around with - after the Retinues bankrupted half the crew, I think that was the tipping point where everyone just decided 'this is too much' and the game's kinda been put on the shelf.
I still have great times with the crew, and you guys are probably the best gaming friends I've had, but there's only so much you can manage.
It doesn't help that everyone has a specific thing they like and trying to get you all to do a bit of everything means usually there's a few people happy and everyone else miserable like with the offloading session a few weeks ago, or a shooting event, or car darts - someone's always moaning that it's not their thing. Means if I do want to get the crew together we have to do something we ALL enjoy and that... doesn't really exist.
Anyway, sorry for the moan. If you guys do see me on feel free to throw me a party invite, I'll be there to help if I can.

Yup. Couple of Rockstar races but main event will be a proper drag strip night, so bring something either cool or good in a straight line. We'll have a bit of a car show so bring something original if you can for style points.
If you can confirm that you'll be there so I can make up the elimination bracket for the drag competition I'd appreciate that by the way.

Since nobody was jumping around on my screen, I would appear to have had the advantage 
Except Eased, who on the drag race was going down the left hand land on the return leg while I was in the right, when suddenly he appeared in front of me. I think I knocked him off but couldn't really tell. If so, profuse apologies Eased.
