with more people (than last week) they might be OK... I can't remember what we decided the main tactic was ? go slow and shoot ?

Sorry for being antisocial tonight- I was AFK all day just letting my bunker stocks build up for the double money sales this weekend. I was planning to join you all but got dragged out for a roast so only had time to do my sale before turning off.

Will try to get on Tuesday evening for the Issi Classic biggrin

Looked like you were trying to do a sale with two Insurgents at once as well, poor bd - you could have asked us for help. xD

Good little evening I thought. Not our usual fare but I enjoyed the Issis.

30 min time limit, did it in about 25 mins. For $910k; shame you’d all left do I didn’t get a bonus laugh

I’ve done a few this weekend, got quite used to the deliveries but the only one I did twice was the Insurgent one.

Could I have some tips from the crew? I must have expected not to be playing much when the Gunrunning update came out because I appear to have spent quite a lot on buying all the bunker upgrades, then never really used it at all. It was a nice bonus to find the upgrades were there over the weekend when I wanted to make some money out of it.

Anyway, I have also never done much research (two items unlocked, both utterly useless to me - one of which is only a livery for a gun anyway!) A fair few of my vehicles can have improved weapons added and some are worthwhile - the explosive sniper ammo etc are also unlocked this way, IIRC? - and I notice that most of the crew seem to have access to these so you must have unlocked them. Did you all just grind the research? I'm tempted to pay for fast tracking some unlocks but I'll rapidly run out of money if I do that.

I really want that helicopter - so cool. No idea what for though, just cos it's cool, like my sailing boat.

I'm really hanging out for the Lada though, in hot pink with the cardboard spoilers and massive "$" rims.

The Issi has tons of mods, its a bit of a pig to drive though, and sounds like a chainsaw!

Should be good fun for some of the tight twisty city tracks though - Some of the mods are a bit minging, particularly the spoilers and the exhausts - have kept mine mostly stock looking

Hey, sorry I didn't get to reply to this yesterday. Was a little bit of a frizz.

It's good that you have all the upgrades, because in 'production' mode the thing becomes a license to print money, even if you buy supplies. As a guide a non-upgraded bunker will translate one full bar ($75k) into 50k worth of product, which can be sold to Los Santos for 75k, breaking even. A fully upgraded one (staff and equipment) will make a full bar into 140k, or 210k if you sell to LS. I suffered through grinding each and every one of the research projects out because I was determined not to fast track, but I think some people have said that arguably if you factor in cost over time fast tracking can be cheaper! I guess it depends how much money you have.

You tend to get some good upgrades fairly early on, before hitting the aforementioned spot of liveries and scopes you'll never use - it all depends how much time you have to waste I suppose! I had all the time in the world so I was happy to do it. I think the only critical thing you should really be aiming for are the ammo types, and a few of the vehicle mods (Oppressor missiles for full griefer mode) though pretty much all the GR vehicles work fine with the standard stuff.

I honestly think the bunker is better used for supplies and production rather than research, but no harm in putting it on 'both' if you're doing manual runs rather than purchasing supplies. Looks like you mostly had it figured out though!

Will try and be on tonight for a bit of the Vespucci job.

I thought it drives OK... just needs a bit more poke... it doesn't swap ends like the modern issi does...

Mods are a bit weird, can't have roll cage and front fog lamps for example... should be fun to race though!

I've just tried a Vespucci job, its great fun!
Only 4 players though, 1 in a Mini trying to get 15 checkpoints and the 3 others in police cruisers trying to stop him.
The key being to block/stop them so they have to respawn, but that knocks 20 seconds of their time allowed
