I'm with you on that dj, i wont be buying a stretch- I'll just race a standard one.

Funds are low, buying the club is likely gonna wipe me out.

Been to plenty in quarries up here too.
My mate had a huge sound system and did tons of them in the 90’s, the biggest and best being the millennium NYE, which was in an abandoned nuclear bunker

Standard works for all of us I think. Especially if people have to buy a Nightclub for it, I don't think we should force people to get custom ones. Maybe if there's a reasonably cheap car in the update we can have a night themed on it.

When you look back it's amazing anyone actually got to the 'venues' bearing in mind there was no internet , no mobile phones but i guess that also helped in that it was harder for the police to keep up with what was going on .

That was half the fun! The chase of getting to and first finding the venue.
That all started around 89 with the acid house warehouse parties around London.
Meet at the services and ring this number was standard fare.
My mate I mentioned above used his mobile for venue info, he used to put it on the answerphone message, it wouldn’t be unusual for his phone to have 500+ missed calls on the night of an event laugh

I remember carting gear across a pedestrian causeway to Cramond Island back in the day. Once the tide came in you were stuck there, DJs and bands used to bring stuff across and set up until the tide went out again.

I nearly posted a photo of a broken bottle of Buckfast which I spotted on Cramond in the takeaways thread. Seemed to encapsulate everything about how desolate it feels on the Forth side of the island.

laugh tbf you're never more than 6 feet from a broken buckfast bottle in a Scottish city. It's like rats in London.

True - I just had higher hopes for an island accessible only at low tide over a mile long tidal causeway laugh

I haven’t been online since I’m staying in Canada for a month and a bit, I logged on during guest list application times, does that mean I come back to millions of dollars and a free Nightshark?

You need to log on each week to get the money bonus for that week. Nightshark freebie isn’t here yet so who knows how you get that!

I’m sat at 5 million in the bank, I’d like to think it was enough for the update, but I doubt it will be!
