I got her flowers and a card, cooked dinner "fajitas" a favourite of ours, and poured her a glass of wine. Don't want to spoil her completely...we're off to Bedford for the weekend, she'll have a spa day on Saturday...she's pretty laid back to be fair.

The fact you poured her wine rather than making her get her own means it was perfectly acceptable to be allowed to put a few laps in... wink

I know I'm a catch wink. I need to tone it down before she loses control...

In my defence she knows I'm trying to get in shape so my gift from her was a skipping rope which connects to an app on my phone, it cost nearly £3 from Aldi...I'm so spoilt lol.

We have a laugh and a cuddle pretty much every day, don't need to splurge one day a year to prove anything...

So the Overclockers Grand Final was fun...I was 8th out of 9...3 of the top 4 run in E-Sports tournaments as a team together...and the other guy had been to Palmersports early in July to practice...

Torrential rain and 250bhp open wheelers are not a good mix...

Did you drive everything? I did Palmersport with eBay Motors a few years back and was fantastic - only car I didn't like was the JPLM

Got an extra go in the F3000 because the first car had a misfire...

First time ever that Palmersports told the instructors not to give any instruction after the first lap as there were prizes. The guy who won was so fast, the rest of us stood no chance...

Its always interesting in the final parts of a competition/league, When I was racing GT5 a lot I had 2 really quick guys who both made it to the televised GTAcademy finals. I was 52nd or something, but it might as well of been 6,000th. Such a difference at the top.

They were pushing all day and I was just happy to be there, I did ok in the M4 and they complained about changing conditions, so we had to go out for a 1 lap qualifier...

On the way out I sprayed the screen hit the wipers and had to dive out of the way of a car at the end of his lap...totally distracted. Everybody else gained 2secs I gained 4 tenths...

The disappointments and cock ups just continued all day, I only really felt comfortable in the Clio Cup which was the closest fought with most of the competitors including me within 1 second of the leader...I was like Norman Wisdom lol, actually I was also the oldest competitor...

Here you go then, if someone who only has base content can just confirm they can access all of these that would be great. Randomiser didn't work, so I just picked cars and tracks we hadn't used before from a list Mark sent me and tried to get a good mix of types of car...the Group5 BMW at Cadwell might be a handful but we could always swap them around, treat this as a first draft/proposal.

From To Track Car
03/08/17 09/08/17 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Club Audi R8 V10 plus
10/08/17 16/08/17 Donington Park National McLaren 12C GT3
17/08/17 23/08/17 Cadwell GP BMW 320 Turbo Group 5
24/08/17 30/08/17 Sakitto National Palmer Jaguar JP-LM
31/08/17 06/09/17 Sonoma Raceway GP Formula B
07/09/17 13/09/17 Silverstone International Ginetta G40 Junior
Any feedback gents?

Don't really like Cadwell in anything so that'll be my worst but happy with those selections.

Not a huge fan of Cadwell either as it's so narrow, please feel free to suggest an alternative. I won't miss it lol smile

Hi folks. New job started so won't have time to play for a while.

Off to Folembray in France on Saturday for some real trackday fun :-)
Bang out of order, you can't say that and not give details of what you're up to, petrolheads are here c'mon details man details!

This is me on Saturday by the way...

Overclockers Grand Final woohoo!
:-) Humble apologies. Lads weekend away. Folembray with Lotus On Track. I drive a Caterham R400 in real life....equally as badly as I drive stuff on here :-). Excellent "boys" weekend. 3 Caterhams & an Elise, driving down Friday, track on Saturday, back Sunday. Stayed in Laon. The French D roads there and back are an absolute joy to drive. Only problem is that rural France seems permanently "shut". Trying to find somewhere for a coffee or food outside main cities on a Friday afternoon (or Sunday) is practically impossible ! Anyway, all unscathed but knackered when we got home Sunday night.

May give it a bash this evening. I've been working in Guildford this week so I'm not getting home until 7:30 most days.

Excellent news. I'm finding it undriveable, not fun at all.

Quite enjoyed that, to be within 2.5 seconds of the leader in real time is unprecedented for me. And brought back memories of Grand Prix Legends.

Fully expecting to be be slowest on the next one!

Well, the Born2BSlow show continues unabaited.

He wins the Real-Time race by a clear half a second and is almost but not quite mathematically nailed on to be the real-time champion again.

In the handicapped challenge Raify takes the win with molineux1980 just 0.02 secs behind. As far as the championship goes, it's pretty much a 3 horse race between Born2BSlow, me and Tronneh.

So it's on to the final race of the season, and don't forget that from next season I am going to try and introduce real-time leagues, I've decided that the top 10 will go into League 1, there's a picture below, so if you're on or close to that dotted line it might be worth putting some laps in.
