If I can figure out how to join in I'll give it a go. Been getting back in to it this past week.

Edit: is the app just for iOS or Android too?

Final edit. I realise no custom tunes but can you change between the default loose/stable options?

I've just signed up too and read this in the help

Leave the Tuning Setup well alone, default for Wheels is Loose and Gamepads is Stable

We have a great turnout for race number 5, with 31 people taking part.

Speeddmon91 had to stretch his legs a bit as he was pushed for the win by newcomer sean_d(VR) who clocked a very impressive 111 laps for second. DoR came in 3rd, achieved within 4 laps. Down at the sad end of the table andy_b put in some last minute laps to sneak ahead of me and sets up a winner takes all scenario for the last relegation slot.

In League 2 Smoke241 takes the win and is all but mathematically assured of taking the title. The final promotion slot is well up for grabs with Paicey, Quikcurl, jam_my21 and omnio all in with a shot. I think the relegation slots are pretty much nailed down with Brattskeggr and molineux1980 going down.

League 3 and tuomijr has won it with NJT1000 looking good for second. Newcomers sean_d(VR) and Pappers are looking very quick though and we'll try and get them up and out of League 3 as quickly as possible.

In the handicapped lottery Racermark83 wins with garyellerby second. tuomijr takes 9 points to put himself within touching distance of NJT1000 with one race to go.

In the new Team Championship, my team the Bandicoots are winning but that could all be transformed in an instant if some of the other teams manage to fill their slots.

Anybody on PS4 up for online racing? There is a terrible shortage of decent lobbies and I really don't want to go back to GT Sports' lacking physics!

Speeddmon91 takes the race and championship win. That now makes 16 races unbeaten and he's never been defeated since he started. DoR takes second place comfortably with Djbuzz07 taking the final podium slot edging out Born2BSlow (I think that may be the first time he hasn't made the top three). In the relegation zone andy_b beats me sending me down alongside Dpb1975.

In League 2 Smoke241 goes up alongside jam_my21 with Brattskeggr (despite a fine last ditch attempt) and molineux1980 going down.

tuomijr and NJT1000 escape League 3 and head up to League 2.

In the handicapped championship tuomijr puts together a strong final finish to pip NJT1000 with Rosinbag coming from nowhere to steal 3rd.

In the newly formed team championship, my team The Bandicoots take the win, primarily by being the only team to have a full compliment of members for the whole championship.

Some stats for you for the championship.

2609 laps completed.
7349 miles completed, which according to Google Maps is about the same as driving from London to Honolulu, obviously there's some praticality issues in doing it in reality.

Alternative awards

The "Might be getting a bit obsessed" award with 200 laps completed is retained by Djbuzz07
The "I hate that effing Race Director" award with 67 invalid laps is NJT1000
The "Need for Speed" award for the top maximum speed is Paicey with 189.22 mph in a Bentley Speed 8
The "Mr Cautious" award for most use of the brakes is garyellerby at Autodromo Nazionale Monza Historic Oval + GP Mix
The "Heavy Right Foot" award for most use of the accelerator is reatined by Twistygit at Autodromo Nazionale Monza Historic Oval + GP Mix
The "Yank it baby" award for most use of the wheel is Twistygit at Autodromo Nazionale Monza Historic Oval + GP Mix
The "Flappy Lips" award for most posts in the chatroom during the championship is back with Born2BSlow with 23 posts
The "I love that Restart button" award for most laps started is DoR with 586
The "Quest for perfection" award for baling out of laps is DoR with 16.0% of laps started actually completed
The "Ploughing on Regardless" award for keeping on going is Cxrodent who completed 80.0% of the laps he started

Another round completed at StoopidChallenges. Speeddmon91 takes the win and indeed all of League 1 show remarkable consistency by being in the exact same order as Race 1.
League 2 has Dpb1975 taking the win, but tuomijr stays in the league lead with another 2nd place. Down at the bottom fcaglayan posts a time getting himself out of the potential 'no-show' auto-relegation.
League 3, sean_d(VR) looking very strong with Brattskeggr closely following after winning a personal duel with Masquerada.
The Handicapped Championship sees garyellerby still out in front but SimonOUFCexile, Dpb1975 and Masquerada throw themselves into the mix with good results.
In the Team Championship, DoR finally posts a time with 15 minutes left until close to enable The Bandicoots to take the win and gain ground on QC Racing.

So this week is the last chance for no-shows to post a time. If it stays as it is jam_my21 is going down to League 3 and the leader of League 2 will be going up to League 1 and the leader of League 3 will go up to League 2 to fill the gap left. If NJT1000 doesn't show up as well then the 2nd place in League 3 will also go up to League 2.

The tail happy Jaguar F-Type at Knockhill leads to a record amount of invalid laps of 50%, and brings StoopidChallenges it's Rocky vs Ivan Drago moment, "You cut him, you hurt him, he's not a machine, he's a man". Hasslemoff puts in the most attempted laps of the week and beats Speeddmon91 by 0.08 sec, bringing to an end his unbeaten run since he started of 18 races.

In League 1 Hasslemoff's win brings him within touching distance of Speeddmon91 and down in the relegation zone it's looking like 2 of 3 out of andy_b, Twistygit and Smoke241.
In League 2 sean_d(VR) completely dominates with tuomijr and Dpb1975 fighting for the 2nd spot. In the relegation zone, fcaglayan and omnio are in trouble.
In League 3 it's tight for the 2 promotion slots between Masquerada, Cxrodent and molineux1980.

In the handicapped championship mikeyb99 takes the win and in the championship it's Masquerada, Quikcurl and then garyellerby.

Over in the team championship QC Racing (Quikcurl,Djbuzz07 and Paicey) take an easy win, well ahead of The Bandicoots (Me, Dpb1975, DoR)

Next race is Bannochbrae in a BMW M1 Procar, should be fun.

Well I thought the Bannochbrae/BMW M1 Procar combo was a cracker. sean_d(VR) obviously thought so, because he drove his pants off to take his first ever win, not only in real-time but in the handicapped version as well.

The big League 1 news is that Speeddmon91 was a no-show, hope it's a one off because he really is an awesome driver. That leaves Hasslemoff to take his 2nd win on the trot and opens up a commanding lead. Born2BSlow, Speeddmon91 and Djbuzz07 all fighting it out for the other podium positions. In the relegation zone, Smoke241 is a goner and it's between andy_b and Twistygit for the last slot.
In League 2 sean_d(VR) is outclassing us all by some considerable margin and the sooner he sods off up to League 1 the better ;-) tuomijr looking solid for the other slot. Relegation slots are also looking pretty nailed on with fcaglayan and omnio going down.
League 3 is looking more competitive with 2 out of Masquerada, TrigL, Cxrodent and molineux1980 going up, with TrigL having a good race to put himself up there.

In the Handicapped championship a good solid performance by Hasslemoff sees him leap from 4th to 1st followed in by Masquerada.

In the team championship QC Racing continues to dominate and a couple of no-shows from SimonOUFCexile and DoR hurt the Skiidmarks and the Bandicoots respectively.

Think that's about it, see you at Willow Springs :-)

Any new blood around who wants to have a crack at this? We're in the last 2 races of Championship 13, but once signed up you can start having a crack at Championship 14.

Come on in and have a blast, PC or IOS App picks up the UDP Feed from the game, whether you play on PC/PS4/XB1, open to all controllers to full motion rigs. If you can't commit to online racing series due to time constraints this is the perfect alternative. Hotlapping at your own convenience with a bit of competition and the ability to see where you are losing out...

Round up for that lovely lush scenic track that is Willow Springs. Nice amount of people took part, 31.

In League 1, well done to Hasslemoff making it 3 on the bounce and by quite a margin as well, 0.7secs. Born2BSlow takes 2nd and well done to Lanius1984 who takes 3rd. Hasslemoff virtually uncatchable for the League win now, all the excitement is down at the bottom with andy_b and Twistygit tussling to avoid the last relegation slot.
League 2, sean_d(VR) and tuomijr good for the promotion slots, the rest of us scrabbling about in the middle, and then omnio and fcaglayan definitely down.
In League 3, barring any disasters, TrigL and Masquerada should be up, and well done to new joiner Maclean10 who got the best time in that league and AllanPRF who was 3rd.

To the Handicapped Championship and BMWZ4M takes the win, but Hasslemoff keeps his lead, whilst garyellerby makes up ground. All to play for coming in to the last round.
In the Team Championship, DoR turns up with 15 minutes left and brings the win home for The Bandicoots (DoR, Dpb1971 and me). QC Racing though still dead certs for the overall championship.

And we're off to the full Le Mans circuit for the last race of the season, see you there.

I'm in, had go last night and I'll give it another bash later tonight to see if I can improve my time around Silverstone in the clio. I can already see how addictive this is gonna be, checked the telemetry today and I think I've gleaned a few pointers driving

It is very addictive, you'll soon figure out who your direct competitors are and then you'll be almost obsessed with waiting for them to post a time and then spend ages trying to beat it!
I'm a bit gutted speeddmon91 hasn't shown up for the last two as I'm desperate to beat him at some point. rofl

I’m a proper lightweight, Bud or Coors Light for me...

It really does become a bit of an obsession though to be fair, Mark in particular is obsessed with virtually destroying every car and the nearest barriers....true story!

Missed a few rounds in recent weeks but I had almost an entire day free yesterday. Managed to put a few laps in on various combos.

I'm really liking the latest batch of tracks / cars.

Saw the 'ring has made an appearance. Honestly i was dreading it but there has been a surprising lack of rage inducement from the race director. Only FFS moment was clipping the Armco on the very last corner and spearing off.

It was time to scratch the itch on Nordschleife...tried to pick a car that wouldn’t be too bad to keep on the black stuff. I’ve started a few laps, but not managed to finish one yet lol

It's goodbye to the shocking Ford Mustang GT, which most of us found to be a bit of a shocker.

It's well done to sean_d(VR) who nicks the win from Born2BSlow by 0.08secs with Hasslemoff 3rd. That brings sean_d(VR) right up with Born2BSlow in League 1. Down at the bottom it's looking like it's going to be a tight one with Quikcurl, DoR, Dpb1975, Twistygit and tuomijr all within a couple of points of each other with2 to go down.
In League 2, andy_b, TrigL and Paicey come 1/2/3 for the second race on the trot. At the bottom it looks like we're having a no-show with Smoke241.
League 3 sees U4IK_ST8 and evans in the promotion slots, keep an eye on Smoke241, if he doesn't show up next race the leader of this league goes up. MrD and irbravo didn't post a time for this race and end up propping up the league.
In the newly formed League 4, GT500Cobra takes the lead with Pig oN Pot x and danoliver1 chasing.

In the handicapped challenge GT500Cobra takes the win and jumps into the leading position.
In the team challenge QC Racing (Quikcurl, Djbuzz07, Paicey) continue to be uncatchable.

At the end of Oschersleben in a KTM X-Bow, which was a fun little combo, numbers taking part were down a bit because some new joiners were racing with a custom setup and we had to delete their times, you can come back by the way, it's an innocent mistake lots of new joiners have made in the past :-)
Back to the racing and it's sean_d(VR) who comes out on top after a huge last minute effort and completing 121 laps in an attempt to get past Born2BSlow, which he finally does by 0.07 secs. So it's looking like it's going to be sean_d(VR) and Born2BSlow battling to the last race (bloody Nordschleife, aargh) for the Real-Time win. Hasslemoff drops back slightly. In the relegation zone, DoR in trouble as he's gone missing in action, but the last spot could be taken from any of Twistygit, Quikcurl, tuomijr or Dpb1975.
In League 2, newly promoted due to a no-show, evans goes straight into the lead with andy_b and TrigL close behind. Masquerada looking in trouble for relegation with ROSSinHD taking the other downward slot.
In League 3 it's quite tight at the top with Sundaygloom from MacLean10 and AllanPRF. Relegation slots looking likely to be taken by no-shows.
In the newly created League 4 (probably a bit hastily in retrospect) we have danoliver1 and Pig on Pot x in the promo slots.
In the handicapped championship, molineux1980 takes the win, and TrigL puts himself into contention, but its GT500Cobra still hanging in there with the lead.
Team Championship, QC Racing wins again, although my team The Bandicoots were within 0.2 secs of them this time.

See you all at Watkins Glen in a BMW M3
