Haha agreed, by the way are you sure you got the right track? the time you set on the challenge site with the Bentley is about 11 seconds quicker than the global lap record lol.
Oulton Park?
The Lap updater wouldnt have sent the laps if it was wrong haha.
But happy to re do if that's the case. Got some time to find.

That Bentley is massive. On the rift you sit so low down you can hardly see over the dashboard. If you set the seat high it feels like the steering wheel is in your lap.

Anyone run this with VR successfully?

Machine is no slouch but can't get it to run smoothly, jittery, horrible effect from fences and white lines, just does not seem to work with my Vive.

980ti sc
i7 6 core @4.2
32gb Ram

AC runs really well but pCars makes me ill.

I've got a 980ti with an i7 950 @ 3.06GHZ and 12Gb RAM. Never had any problems with my rift, although you could try turning the eye candy down, I use the Nvidia recommended options. I don't increase the SS either. Can't check my settings as my sensor is borked and I'm sending it back under warranty tomorrow sorry.

Had a little sesh this evening :-)

Don't think I have any more time to gain in the P1 or the Bentley (now I'm on the right combo...!!!).

Atom is fun.

Skipped the Sierra as I wasn't feeling very "Ford" today, went straight to the Formula A, my first time properly driving one, umm ok it's hard. rofl

Ah I forgot about the handicap, so really i'm second :/

Been doing a GT3 and Ginetta series with a group on facebook, it's good fun if you can commit to the time.
Last weekend we also started a WTCCC series in Race Room which was some of the best racing i've ever had, really really good fun.

You can turn the handicap off now, and it stays turned off, you need never see it again and there's a separate league table for non-handicap results.

Good effort mate. Great to see your name back on the boards.

I might have to get on it again tonight wink

I have done a 1.59.4xx but this was before when I was on Pad still.

Edit: credit to Matt S for a stunning time with no aids.

I wish I could take credit for a stunning time with no aids but I didn't set that - the updater must not have shut down before I pitted and gave the computer control to see where I could get quicker. Think I've managed to delete the offending times but reality is that I'm bloody hopeless with this combo!

That's a more representative time - I do find this car a bit quicker with some of the aids turned off but don't think I'd keep on the track if I had ABS off too...

I always prefer ABS on and no other aids in most cases. I find TC / SC is annoying. Good effort though mate, it's a very beasty car.

Found it a bit easier to control without the TC as could slide it a little more - might see if I can find some more time this evening if I get chance but snowed under with work

Right, that's the McLaren out of the way. Onwards and forwards onto Race 2.

Congrats to Tronneh who's made a storming return to win the handicapped race and therefore go into the lead there. xjay1337 sneaks the lead in the real time league from Tronneh by 0.02 secs.

Sweet, I like the look of the Bentley. I've got at least 2 weeks waiting on the rift sensor coming back sadly. I came 5th in both championships in R1, need to make up some ground...

Got a i7 6700k with 16gb of ram and a gtx970, if i turn the eye candy up too high the frame rate hit's the floor like 20FPS I think it was AA related stuff so check that out.
