I got slaughtered by the kids in the OCUK final coming 7th/8...

I might not be around much in September depending on what happens with work...although I will be home at weekends and maybe get some seat time...

Sorry, I'm just enjoying it too much...I'm only winning because Rob/rex, xjay and Tronneh haven't been around to put me in my place you know...

Here you go then, if someone who only has base content can just confirm they can access all of these that would be great. Randomiser didn't work, so I just picked cars and tracks we hadn't used before from a list Mark sent me and tried to get a good mix of types of car...the Group5 BMW at Cadwell might be a handful but we could always swap them around, treat this as a first draft/proposal.

From To Track Car
03/08/17 09/08/17 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Club Audi R8 V10 plus
10/08/17 16/08/17 Donington Park National McLaren 12C GT3
17/08/17 23/08/17 Cadwell GP BMW 320 Turbo Group 5
24/08/17 30/08/17 Sakitto National Palmer Jaguar JP-LM

Hi all,

recently got back into project cars and fancy a crack at this, by which I mean I volunteer to prop up the bottom of the table!

Do you guys actually race or is this just a time attack league kinda deal? Quite like the look of the upcoming combos smile

I have looked at the website linked on the first page, seems the Sauber C9 on Zhuhai is the current one?

I'll have a go at that this evening but doubt it will go too well, haven't raced much of the faster stuff, perhaps I'll get in some early practice with the Audi R8...

Just time attack, may the best time win.

Sauber at Zhuhai is indeed the current one, have a go, always looking for more people to race :-)

Let me know if you have any problems with the PCLapUpdater.

Bugger, taken my first place :-(

Just checking, drivers aids real and car untuned? PCLapUpdater would check but can't tell with manual addition.

I used a G29, manual w/ clutch, the only aids i ever have on is abs, no changes to the car (can't be bothered with that most of the time!), just went into time trial and selected the car and track. smile

Ermmm, you can't have ABS on this car, it's not available, you have to set driving aids to real. You'll see on the website times everyone has 3 red dots, indicating everything is off for this car.

You need the aids on real, there is no abs on the sauber.

Dear born2bslow, sod off ;-)

I'm having this championship even if I have to drive all weekend.....

Yeah I have it set to 'allow all driving aids' but have everything but abs turned off.

Will give it a try without abs over the weekend but I doubt that will go well...

Shame nobody on here organises races anymore, be a bit more fun.

edit: with it set to 'real' does it seems to change with every car, so will you guys be using the R8 with all the aids on? I won't!

Yup, it changes per car, if the car has aids available then you can pick and choose, most guys map the aids to the steering wheel butttons. Give it another go, it looks like you're quick, but I'll have to delete those laps in the morning.

No problem, I guess I'll be doing my usual abs only or all off then depending on the car.

Cheers!

That's pretty much how it goes here, occasionally SC gets a look in but TC just slows you down...welcome aboard. I take it you are in PS4, those of us on PC occasionally get together if we notice we're in game at the same time but it's rare...life's just too bloody busy at the moment. More likely during the winter. If you want PS4 racing you should check out NxtGen on Facebook they run quite a few different series on PCars and Assetto Corsa for PS4, quite the thriving community...

It's fun without ABS on.
I will get some seat time this weekend. The Mrs is ditching me to go to Cardiff. We are doing some work on my friends car but I'll be on at some point.
