I only just saw this game on facebook the other day, there is a guy who streams himself playing from 1-3pm pacific time called StoneMountian64.
I don't usually watch that kind of thing but as I hadn't heard of the game I had a quick watch and found it interesting!
He made it to the last 3 the time I watched I think, does the circle get smaller every so many minutes until everyone is on top of each other?
Not sure my oldish PC would compete with newer gaming rigs for current FPS as I'm still a CS:Source player but an interesting concept compared to the usual team/free for all!
Check out JackFrags videos on youtube. He is pretty handy!I don't usually watch that kind of thing but as I hadn't heard of the game I had a quick watch and found it interesting!

Picked this up.
Highlights so far.
Finding a cool gun and promptly being shot in the back
Being shot by enemy unseen
Found a tunnel complex then being shot by enemy unseen
Being shot by enemy unseen in a field.
Being shot by enemy unseen (again)
Finally shooting at someone
Died
Never been so tense playing a game, I spend half my time hiding in bathrooms.

More matches than rounds. Not like CS where you are playing against the same players each time.
You always start with nothing so no skills/stats/leveling up all equal (technically).
You die you are out, find another game. Which is easy as it's very busy right now.
If you like to run and gun forget it. If you are more sneaky/stealthy then you should be ok sneaking around or more likely hiding in a cupboard like a big pansy.

Still really enjoying this. I've learnt that looking around using Alt very useful, especially when running in the open and I'm learning when I'm likely to run across other players and when I'm safe to carry on without paying too much attention. I've managed 7 top 10s in about 70 matches, but the ever elusive victory just eludes me. I came second the other night after getting hit once and then dying to the circle!

If you ever played the DayZ ARMA mod then it's like that except much faster paced and with no zombies.
It's more similar to PlayerUnknown's Arma 3 mod called 'Battle Royale' which he based on the Japanese movie of the same name. From my understanding it's a halfway house between Battle Royale and H1Z1 (which was extremely arcade like and I didn't really get along with it). I shall probably be downloading this in the next few days.

I can't believe that people are actually hiding in toilets though? Its fairly easy to move around and loot up once you get some experience. The game I mentioned where we won a game by doing so was slightly tongue in cheek. We jumped out to a town at the north of the map and by luck the circle centred on us for the whole game. We looted the town and killed a few trying to get in but by the end of the round when the circle was smallest, three of us were hiding in a house but we spotted the last two guys and ran out and shot them. The circle is so small by then that its about the size of one house.
Its also a lot more fun playing with other people than on your own and I think its a little easier too.
Aculite on youtube is a really good player and makes decent videos too.

Best "hiding in toilets simulator" 2017
I had another go at this last night and had a bit more success. A couple of kills, including an early fistfight (although I don't recommend as even if you win you walk away with low health). Managed to come 14th once, and was in the top 20 again on course to do well (in a really good position in the safe zone) before Mrs ZS decided to download something from Sky Store
Also a couple of comedy moments. One time I parachuted into a fairly empty area, only for someone in a car to start chasing me in circles around a rock for a couple of minutes. They eventually got bored and drove off. Another time I ended up central in the safe zone early on, and found a decent building to hole up in (good lines of sight, only one staircase, etc). Decided to lie in wait at the top of the stairs with a good view of the front door. AKM on fully automatic. Eventually I hear someone approach, as they open the door I empty half the magazine at them but somehow fail to kill them, then panic and retreat further back into the house. Cue a few minutes of us both ducking in and out of doorways taking pot shots, although I did finally manage to finish them off
I went about 5 games last night without killing a single person. Someone hid behind a car and I must have emptied 100 rounds into it to blow it up. It caught on fire and he ran away and I still didn't kill him.
Watching good players like JackFrags and Aculite on youtube just makes me realize how terrible a shot I am.

Got my first kill and nearly a 2nd. Top 20 finish before being killed by a combo of running away from the circles and running into another survivor.
Was on the top floor of a house and heard someone come in. Hid, but they must have heard me as came up the stairs shooting. Had a bit of a stand off before I managed to jump off the roof and come up behind him. Another stand-off but the other way round now. Managed to get a good hit on him when he poked his head out but not enough.
He then drives off, I should have just nicked his car once I had the advantage but I didn't know he had one/where it was parked.

Just started playing this last night, new to this type of game (never played ARMA or any of the other similar games like H1Z1) my god what a learning curve . I'd seen a bit on twitch, so had a vague idea what was going on, but by the time I got it installed and graphics drivers updated etc it was late night and I reckon (hope) it was just the pro's left playing...
First game. Aha, a house, go inside and dead instantly. 1 min. 90th.
Second game. Aha, 2 houses and no one around. Find a pistol and a frying pan.. hide for a while, what's that noise, bang. dead. 5 minutes, 70th.
Third game, find lots of nice things, get confused about how to aim down the sights, get caught in a fire fight wondering why I can't shoot. dead. Oh, right have to reload first. 10 minutes, ish. 50th.
Fourth game, somehow manage to get out of the parachute too early, lose half health hitting the floor. find a shotgun, not much else, hide a lot as seem to be in middle of circle. Lots of shooting around, keep low profile. need to move towards the end, get shot in back. Need to remember to look around. 10th.
Still haven't killed anyone...barely seen them. Great fun though, very tense too. Have a feeling that once the better loot locations are known and the controls are more customised to my liking it will be better still.

Anyone else getting a lot of disconnects from the server,mid-game?Or is it my sgitty internet to blame?
Also I bought a 700bp starter box but I dont seem to have actually gained anything Is that in a special place or is that abug development feature? Done it twice now!
The crate goes to the Character screen and is at the bottom, open it and a random item will be added to clothing selection. Also I bought a 700bp starter box but I dont seem to have actually gained anything Is that in a special place or is that a
Fantastic game. Got my first solo chicken dinner last night!
I play on the Asia or US servers, much less lag. Epic fun. Shotguns are best at the beginning and the end where you'll be very close to people otherwise I got for an assault rifle, single shot, ideally with a 4x scope (they're pretty hard to find though)
Love the random matchmaking - sometimes you're teamed up with some people who know what they're doing, sometimes with a group of idiots who all die in the first 2 minutes!

Hiding is a credible tactic to winning - a friend and I play on Duo regularly, and after we've geared up fairly well we'll head to the centre of the zone and hide in a building. If we're lucky the zone keeps around us, which is great because people then have to come to us and we can pick them off as they approach. The last round I won was thanks to this play style. If you're always running around hunting people, you're putting yourself at a lot more risk, and give that the game is more about how long you last rather than the amount of kills you get, hiding means points!
