Still loving this too,60 hours plyed so far.
Not won either, came close, just had a great game, jumped onto ruin on the mountain, and had a care package literally fall on to my lap-ghilli suit & LMG,very nice. Then just waited till the circle closed around me,came about 5th with 2 kills
Good way to get a lot of kills is go AFK till you land then punch the other AFKers biggrin

What I am NOT liking is getting disconnected a lot

I'm a huge fan of PUBG and I love hearing everyone's stories about it here in this thread. I've only played around 10 hours so but its quickly becoming my favourite game. I'm not exactly rambo but I can usually make top 50.

The zenith of my skill came when I was in a 4 man team game with 3 randoms. They all bailed out of the plane at different points and left me an 1 team mate outnumbered. We ended up cowering upstairs with a shotgun and an revolver, respectively, while much better teams fought around our house. In a blur of keyboard slamming and lag I managed to get the drop on a room full of guys with my shotty. Killed 2 and wounded 2, unfortunately 1 of the wounded was my team mate and the remaining guy murdered me. Still happy with that though :P

It's a very enjoyable game but you sometimes need a huge amount of luck. I've managed to win about 15 games but it all comes down to where that circle ends up.

Yeah there is a lot of luck, I have won 3 solos' a couple of duos and a couple of squads.

In my last solo win I ended up with 6 kills, but I wouldn't say I deserved the win, It was more good timing often taking advantage of a Mexican standoff situation and being the last one to fire.

Luck is a big part but you can reduce that element with good timing of the drop, and getting transport early and running to where people aren't. There is 1 Dacia that always spawned in Mylta, but they might have changed that. Maps of the spawns are online. Boats are handy too....last night I got a care package that dropped in the water between the big bridges, then sat in the boat trying to snipe people going to it.
Good that you can play all gung ho, or be sneaky, I usually hide as I am a poor shot and have a crappy connection. But am not that patient, so usually get shot running across open ground, or going round a corner without looking

I watched StoneMountain64 playing this and bought it myself.

I've not played a massive amount but in the 10 odd games I've played my best is 4th, still | don't mind as I only play for a laugh.

If you've not watched StoneMountain64 he's worth a watch, he plays everynight and has a facebook page he streams from.

For those that play duos or squads, me and my brother had an interesting discussion last night about whether its better to leave an enemy downed or to kill them straight away? Discuss

....nosuchuser....

Just had my first solo chicken dinner smile. Only with 2 kills though and it was on a round that started terribly, by the time of the second circle I only had a double barrelled shotgun but then found a UMP (so my favourite gun) and a suppressor. Circle rng played to my favour and I ended up in some excellent cover and popped the last 2 guys. Happy, happy days

Depends if you can bait the other guy (duo) - if not, kill them asap. I'm up for some squad play, only got 1 other friend who plays this

It made me laugh a lot - as he drives off leaving his squad mate "Ammo" to die yelling "I told you you were trash Ammo!" so funny!

Baiting is a good tactic, either his mate will break cover to come and revive him, or he'll start crawling off to where his mate is so he can get revived. It's for that reason that if I go down I head away from my partner into nearby cover - not always a good tactic as sometimes he can't reach me in time, but if he's hidden at least he'll stay that way and hopefully kill the enemies.

Won my first Duo game earlier. Killing my teammate and the remaining player simultaniously. My teammate got downed and then crawled towards an area that i could see but the other player couldn't. I effectively used my downed teammate to bait the last guy. The remaining player popped out of some cover between us, and in shooting him i put my partner in crime out of his misery also.

I'm Thenur on steam if anybody wants to add me for some squad play.
