Definitely in the game. I usually get 0-3 kills I'd say. Had two games today with 19 kills. Won probably 10 of the last 12 games I've played. Playing squads but none of the other players working together, shoot at you and stand dead still, go prone to heal in the open when you are still shooting at them.
And the clincher; every name is something_something. Underscores in every name. I'd say 80-90% of the lobby are bots. And bad ones at that.
Not sure of the reasoning. I never struggled to join a game. Not TPP at least.
Completely taken away the "peril" feeling. Quite fun to get a load of kills for once but soon wears off!

I am a genuine 250 adr player and haven't had any bots in the game yet.

I still really don't think that Bots are in Public games yet. The devs specifically say "coming in a future update" and I've not encountered any (granted, I only play Duo/Squads). Still, the way my K/D is going I’ll be back with the humans soon!
I can check the player accounts , if you give me your Pubg username I can find the people you have played with if you don't mind (Mine is PepegaPig just to show I'm not going to be weird!)

Not in a fair while but it's surprisingly good on mobile! I've mostly just been playing Arcade and Karakin on normal, as the ranked matches appear to be squad only. Played 4 games on Vikendi the other night; 1,1,2,1. Then I looked at the match reviews - only ~10 players per match! 90 bots per game....They give you a long distance warning shot, then another couple of bursts before they hit you. I can't imagine how you would ever get killed by one. They also don't go in building or loot supply crates.
