I haven't raced for well over a month now - not had a huge amount of time, and whenever I have, there haven't been any combos I fancied
On the odd hour or so I get to play I've been re-running some of the missions and circuit challenges... got quite a few global top 10's now, and one outright top spot (N300 at Brands Indy). Spent an hour on the Nurburgring/M6 circuit test earlier in the week and knocked 10s off my previous best to get down to a 6'32, but still 8s off Dan (Hollo1)!
However, some of the top 10's remain way beyond my ability - eg; no idea how people get round Bathurst so quickly (I'm 3s off the top spot), and I've come to realise I'm crap at rallying
Not as enjoyable as racing, but still decent fun chasing the tenths in different cars.

That's quick! My time on that mission is just under 6:50 - no idea where I could find more than a couple of seconds either.Debaser said:

Quick is a relative term... I look at some of the times, and I know exactly why I'm slower... I just don't have the skills to do it myself. There are a handful of people who are far beyond 'quick'.

I might revisit some of the missions and driving tests if I get bored, I just got gold and moved on to the next without trying to improve.
Quite a lot were gold first try, they certainly don’t seem to be as hard as I remember GT3 tests to be!
I think I may do the same. Got gold on all but would like to improve my times.Quite a lot were gold first try, they certainly don’t seem to be as hard as I remember GT3 tests to be!
Question! How can I check my DR/SR points as stated above? I'd like to see that.

I was enjoying the Supra daily around Tokyo, quali 2nd and was in 1st by the first hairpin. I didn’t enjoy being shunted straight on into the wall to end up at the back of the pack with a 5second penalty
Penalty’s make no sense
Didn’t bother with a quali lap on that yesterday as I only did it once and entered with 3 minutes to go. Got from 14th to 5th at the first hairpin just by staying tight to the inside and watching everyone else crash! Penalty’s make no sense
First 5-6 of us all running at pretty much thfun same pace, got upto 4th then back to 5th after a penalty for tapping a wall slightly too hard. Gained nothing from it but still get the penalty anyway...

I think you need your psn id number, I got mine from the GTS website, hopefully someone who knows what they're doing can explain it better
Getting some weirdness in the Skyline...52.8 qualifying, then low 50's in the race, someone had a 47! Back to qualifying and bareley get in the 52's.
I think it's the first lap...you come out of auto drive right on the first corner, but then it gets recorded as a whole lap.

To get a jump out of a rut you just need to wait for a combination that you do well at naturally. Get a decent qualifying time and you should have a very good chance of winning or a high position.
I’ve done it today as can be seen above, and many times in the past too.
I mainly avoid tracks I don’t like, that makes life a lot easier straight away.
There’s no point racing on a track or in a car you don’t enjoy
That was some good advice! Managed to sneak into DR A I’ve done it today as can be seen above, and many times in the past too.
