I have not tried the Beetle yet but certainly there are plenty about and often seem a bit quick! At the moment with just the test championships I am not to worried there is time for it to be changed and if not time to try a hippie mobile for myself

More of a concern are the little bugs like the qualifying times although last night I mostly bought about my own downfall in races anyway. Big one yesterday was the lobby, 2 friends highlighted as racing, went in tried to filter and find the room and could not find them/you.

I refuse to use the Beetle, it's not even a real car anyway..

If they nerf it, the races will be much better. I can only hope.

1 bloody race of the Tokyo ring today and been demoted from sportsmanship level b to e.

I'm now racing against the total 'tards who I can only assume will drive backwards round the track.

It's funny when you look at the nationalities, you can generally pick which is going to fk your race up.

Haha so true! I don't think it helps having the Union Jack above your car.. I sometimes get the feeling we aren't well liked?

I have wanted to say this exact same thing for some time today got down from b to c and in 1 of the races got given 2 10 sec penalty and each time it was the other guy bombing in to me and he was German

Also have a bright pink 911... might be that too!

Oh well, just a bit of fun.... I did try to hunt down a German dude who kept trying to ram me and do mad blocking.
Went for the revenge ram buy he took himself out, so reasonably happy about that.

They've had it in for us since the 40's. Just done the suzuka championship race and spent half the race trying to get away from a zepellin pilot. Every time i got past he would just ram me at the next corner, sending me into the gravel. All for 14th place!

Don't do today's race c, it's a total piss take. Gave me 2 1min penalty's for going slightly off track.

Well I shall do my best to return their aggressive drive by avoiding those dive bombs and winning the race which what will happen seems to annoy them some as I received some snotty message after that race

In time trials my fastest times are in the 911, you can take crazy liberties with the beetle though. what's good in the group 4 cars?

Just had a hideous race on Suzuka. Took someone out after losing it on the grass. He spent the rest of the race trying to punt me. Sent him a grovelling apology. I hate when that happens.

Not sure if anyone is after a wheel, but just seen Amazon Black Friday deal for Logitech G29 wheel/pedals for £129.00 - I'm half tempted, but as I'm getting on alright with the controller I don't know if it's just a waste of money...

Edit: Couldn't resist and ordered one. Anyone know a decent stand for it that doesn't cost the same again?

I did the same but also added the shifter - did you notice it was half price?

Only £18.99 for GTS on Blu Ray from Amazon as well, cheaper than the shifter.

Checkout gt omega who have 10% off at the moment and it’s a modular stand so can upgrade it to a full cockpit at a later date.

Games dropping that cheap is normally an indication of bad sales. The last COD did the same
