Did the C daily today, GR4 Megane 8 laps at Monza (no chicane), no need to pit, ended up with a 45s penalty, cruised round till the end and still finished 12th smile, what is so difficult about braking at the 150!! Went from A/S to B/C smile
Me too, spent half an hour getting my quali time down and still ended up starting in 10th. Had the car in front rejoin the track and swerve violently to block, needless to say I hit him and got penalised. Ended up with 14s of penalties ...

It's probably worth just having a Monza/ovals account..

I was going to do the Gr2 at Willow, but after some practice decided it would just be more carnage! Daily A has been great though smile

Exactly what happened to me during the Gr3 Dragon Trail race on Tuesday. I hit someone who re-joined the track and then the driver behind hit me and I ended up in the gravel. Qualified 10th, got up to 5th and then ended up last after that. I just quit. Shame really as I did the Peugeot RCZ One Make race at Lago Maggiore twice and did well so whatever DR increased, it quickly decreased.

Next update out soon. Seems to include a couple group C's so speculation is that Le Man circuit is coming too given that tracks are never announced. I don't particularly like it but at least it's new smile

Hi all - I am very new to GT Sport (and playstation) - finally caved in a bought a PS4 and I am enjoying GT Sport so far after years of Forza.

My PSN is PPPMAT and I might add a few of you guys if that's ok just to see how slow I am.

Any tips on controller setting would be useful. I am playing on an xbox elite controller on PS4 which for me works a lot better than the DS4 but its still a very different feel to Forza as there is no trigger rumble to guage when you have reached the limits of grip.

Cheers Matt

Thing is, I remember putting my PS3 in the bin not so long ago,
With it went GT5. Plus the ferrari f1 car that my cousin and my son spent hours and hours winning for me while I was away.
It had all that other stuff. It was ace.

I was lucky enough to get PS VR for my birthday, so I will be picking up this game soon.

Why oh why can't we have different cars.

You just knew they would be the Group C cars they would choose?

Why? because they have been in previous games. Why not a different Nissan, the twin turbo Jag, or the flat 12 Sauber. Why always the same models every time.

Cant this bloke ever be original for goodness sake.

Am waiting patiently for plain the white Ford Focus WRC that has been in every bloo0sy GT since the first one or two.

Great to get the track though. Just a shame the cars are a little predictable.

Bloody nightmare today! Didn't fancy the daily A, the B was a demolition derby, and Panarama was a total cluster fk, the standard of driving was the worse, with a couple of exceptions, that I've ever seen!! I'm now back to D E. On the plus side the Megane Trophy seems decent, although it does lack a bit of top end.

Game truly is the epitome of rubber banding

Tried the new hatch series. Only using Swift Sport.

8 laps at Brands, caught and passed everyone within 6 laps.

Then suddenly the guys behind start lapping 5, yes 5 seconds a lap faster, AI in a Civic barges me out of the way into Druids on last lap and I could never stand a chance of catching him.

What an utter pile of cheap, pathetic bull this game is.

Hasn't AI evolved a little really? Is this really the best they can do, to slow them down and let you catch, then their lap times drop so ludicrously as to make it laughable?

How does AI going 5 seconds a lap faster translate to "get good"?

Please tell me from your years of sim racing experience?

Nothing new... GT games have always had rubber banding in the AI races.

But it also remains easy to beat them in cars that are massively de-tuned.

You're not winning. You need to improve.

I've played and completed every GT series title. Always the same. Be consistently fast. You're blaming the game for your lack of ability. Get good.
